Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

No, it isn't only you, sweetheart.

Quite frankly, i love the cast too much to let go.

And you know, something might happen.  No idea what, but, it's worth the ongoing life of the site to see if something unusual happens, like, well, maybe it gets picked up by the Food Network or something.  A lot of the junk i was making for the poker game has actually been tested in my kitchen and i have to tell you with all modesty that our boys were being well fed.  But pity i never got to the star attraction; i think i'd have had Chorro eating out of my hand!  :-)

Yeah, i can see it happen, can't you?  "Iron Chef St Louis" or "Cornerstone's Kitchen" or "Cheffing with Babes."  Anything.  It's possible, right?

Or maybe the Poker Channel can grab Johnny and Dren for a feature game played by Hoyle's rules.  They'll be the only players at the table who know how to do it!

Or Iain could be the inspiration for a TV series about a vampire who bashes bad guys in the name of justice and everything nice.  He's accompanyied by a beautiful young woman who loves him but is haunted by the very real fear that she may, one day, become something like him.

:-)

We have some good stuff.

Light to all of you!

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

Well, Compton hasn't deleted the game, which means he hasn't lost *all* hopes... And Pieran definitely hasn't lost his touch :)

So, stay tuned, maybe we'll get un-cancelled :P

And of course American Pie (the song, not the movie) made me think of you guys... If you are planning a trip to Belgium, come say hello :P

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

OK... To whom it may concern, I'm starting a new game, completely unrelated to Buffy, but I'm hoping it's gonna be fun. I'm no Compton, mind you, but I'm hoping having good players will help with that ;)

The game is this: link to another game and it's a comedy TnT RPG.

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

Well, it was 4 years ago today; seven persons from all walks of life (and un-life) were ripped from what they knew to begin an adventure that spanned the dimensions. As your humble guide, I was blessed with your wit, role-play and skill as writers. I look back on our game fondly. I have not the heart to delete the game, but will let it fade away slowly with time. Perhaps others will stumble upon it and they too will enjoy the adventure we created.

Feel free to chat here if you want, for you are always welcome. I wish you all well and I see that some of you are moving on with your own games. May you have the fun that we had and continued success in both this virtual world and in the Real one.

Peace.

And we had a lot of fun, didn't we?

Thanks Compton, you've been a great Director.

And you guys, it's been a pleasure playing with you.

Show of hands...
Who got excited when this thing went Red?
;)
You know if you guys keep talking this thing is never going to go "Inactive" but maybe that's not such a bad thing. I was surprised today to here there were people still hanging around this old game.

I'm actually here - kind of on business because I've started yet another Buffy Game, but this time I've taken it to an Adult level so those of you who are old enough and intersted enough can join.

The game will take everyone right into the heart of Hell ergo the Adult side of it. Player slots are limited but I would like quality players of this game I knew there were so if anyone's interested it's here:

Yet another game... With zombies! link to another game

You are mostly familiar with the system, since it's the "full" (or "Classic") version of what we used ;)

Why, aren't I surprised! It's good to see you again, Compton :)

How is 2009 treating you so far? I think I changed country since the last time we talked! On the plus side, I do get a better paycheck, so... I can complain :P

Belgium... Same time zone, different languages - yep plural, but I am sticking to French for the time being, we'll see if there's any need to learn Flemish :P

I know what you mean.  There was something special about this game and the people in it.

This calls for a group hug!

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

* Spreads arms wide* Hugs all around. This game will always hold a special place in my heart. It must be due to the people.

Work for me has been busy but steady. One of my bosses is moving away this summer. He has been the source of a lot of discontent and stress in the office. He will not be missed.

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

Indeed, I hope 2009 is a good year for everyone.  :oD  I'm still busy studying away and trying desperately to think of a dissertation topic - proposals are due in relatively soon!

...

Okay, I'm going to say it (don't hate me, Compton!).  If we're still checking in over a year after the game ended, is there any hope of a revival?

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

We could make it a light, slow-paced, couple-of-posts-a-week kind of revival, easy on everyone's schedule... After all, it seems pretty clear to me that nobody's going to drop off because the game is not progressing quickly enough :P

Re: Green Room 2 (OOC)

Okay, first of all, I apologize for my silence. You haven’t made me upset and I don’t hate you. I have been contemplating. I think I want to try this again. I did have so much fun and I miss it.

I will need a few days to review and rewrite some things. But, we may be able to get going again soon. How do you guys feel about that?
