"Ummm, not to be rude or anything, but I am far from the Armstrong you speak of." TK lowered his gaze and twiddled his fingers as he did so often.

"Kid you don't speak up I'm gonna make you chew the gum under this table til your mouth is strong enough to talk like a man." He let the womans comment slide, he knew they'd need him. Every damn group of fighters he ever met needed him, since he was just a kid hunting rats to get by they had always offered him the soldiers life.

"Hey! be nice to the kid. he is a legend, if he is who they say he is."

Wolfcub's ears perk up right before he finishes his sentence.

"Anyone else hear that? I might be hearing things, I may just be  slagged from all the running."

"You jumpy boy? Calm your nerves. My X-Men would signal
if anything was out there. Anyways, this kid is exactly
who I say he is, just before he became the legend. We are
going to give him a chance to make a new legend. He's going
to be our Messiah. The man who took down Master Mold. Mark my
words, this kid is the real deal, even if he can't talk above
a whisper."
Bishop sat back in his seat, nodding in agreement
with himself before opening his canteen and taking a sip. Then
he passed it across to Gentle.

He took the canteen, it reeked like piss but the water inside was as fresh as it got. He remembered all the filth he'd settled for over the years and was grateful.

"So you X-men got a plan? I've fought for a lot of folks but not a damn one was as sure they could end this as you are."

Re: Uncanny Ultimate X-Men (530) Issue #3
"I'm actually curious of this plan as well. And what is this Master Mold you speak of?" TK tried to speak a tad bit louder to prevent the massive man from yelling at him, but his voice always seemed to fail him when he tried to produce a reasonable volume.

"Master Mold is the leader of the Sentinels. It's an Artificial
Intelligence with the power to adapt to it's surroundings. Worse
still it pumps out sentinels worse than rabbits. It controls them,
sends them to hunt Mutants. It even took down the world's governments
to protect them against mutants."
Bishop said, disgust barley contained.

"Worse still he's smarter than any of us, and now
he's got Forge."
Dazzler added. Bishop gave her a
dirty look. She flipped him off.

"Is it safe to stay in the same spot for long?"

Wolfcub was getting anxious, he loved the feel of running. the small cramped quarters of the camp were never enough for him to fully stretch his legs. being free and not having someone to tell him where to roam was making him more than a little antsy.

TK fought every urge to correct the massive mutant. He proceeded to stand up and make his way to the window to take in the ruins' scenery. It was really a depressing sight. He remembered this diner, Mr. Reynolds had taken the entire team here once before when Miss Braddock was still among the living, before things got, complicated.

Suddenly they heard screaming and weapon discharge.
Bishop and Dazzler jump to their feet and head in
the direction of the sounds.

Gentle remembered these, and that getting in close was best left until their ranks had been thinned out. He ripped a parking meter from the curb and hurled it like a javelin at a sentinel trying to get in a flanking position.

Rolling team D10, Killing In The Name Of D4 +1PP, Godlike Strength D12 +Unstoppable Force SFX, Combat Expert D8
19:43, Today: Gentle rolled 1,8,10,21 using d4,d8,d10,2d12, unique dice with rolls of 1,8,10,12,9. Skewer that punk-ass sentinel. Dropping the highest and using 3 for total 27 Effect D4 1 opportunity to buy.

o.O I know I asked you to sell your lack of combat skills but.. I mean... either you need an Oscar or... the dice roller hates you.

Armstrong is Stressed out, Initiative falls to Gentle.

The fight is getting bloody, several of the X-Men and their wards being terminated
with extreme prejudice by the prowlers.

Re: Uncanny Ultimate X-Men (530) Issue #3
Wolfcub tears apart the Prowler before it can unconscious "Messiah". In moments the tide turns, as Bishop and Dazzler rally the X-Men, the half dozen Prowlers are blown to pieces.
Without a word, or pause for the dead, Bishop signs his team to move out, the strongest carrying the wounded and leaving as quickly as they can towards Graymalkin.

Wrapping this up.
