Seeing that the Juggernaut could not be slowed the X-Men regroup
(picking up Armstrong along the way) in the Blackbird to organize
a new defense. Dreadnought lands the Blackbird beside a sign that reads;

Dreadnought looked around. His team had never been so out
matched before. Not by the Brotherhood, not by the Wrecking
and certainly not by the MRD.

"Right mates, that didn't go to plan. But it's alright, we've
seen how strong he is so at least we've that goin' for us. How
do we slow 'im down? Anyone got an idea?"

Nightcrawler looked around. His teammates were tense.
All of them were covered in grime, their uniforms torn
in places. All of them had cuts, bruises or burns from
rescuing civilians. It seemed like that's all they'd managed
to do, the Juggernaut didn't slow down any longer than to kick
Armstrong a town away.

"Vell... I could maybe try teleporting him avay. But as fast as
he moves, it von't delay him long."
he said wearily.

Cupid was treating a few cuts Impulse had received
jumping through a burning out car to get to the injured
police officer who'd been trapped inside.

"I could call Clint, see if the Avengers can help. This
guy seems like he's more in their league than ours."
she
suggested. It was a long shot, but maybe they could scramble here
before the Juggernaut smashed apart their home.

Dreadnought's eyebrows furrowed as she said it. She knew he was
scowling under his mask. He didn't like Clint for some reason.

Jealousy roared into Dreadnought's mind. Why did
she fancy that dim-witted archer so much?

"No, luv, they'll never get here before he thrashes the
mansion. If he does that then the police will ask why it
was his target. That won't help. We need to pry off that damn
helmet he's got on."
he sighed and tried to relax a little.
All the negative emotion in the cabin was hard to keep at bay.

"Come on mates, get creative here. How do we get his helmet off?
Do that and Impulse will make him cry like a scolded child."

Nathan was beginning to get his head back in the game, his flare up had left him helpless until they were in the air again. Good thing he wasn't worth the big guy's attentions then or he'd be a red smear on the pavement.

TK sat in the jet clutching his chest. It didn't hurt, but he realized that this is the second time that his power saved his life. He was thankful that he was the one to stand in the Juggernaut's path, and not one of his friends.

"Ummm, it might be aggravating to him to have myself stand in his path again. I'll just try to dodge his boot more effectively this time."

Just then, it clicked, TK remembered that he did a quick scan of the Juggernaut's helmet when he dive-bombed him. He hadn't had time to analyze it at the time, but the jet ride offered ample time to think over a strategy.

Armstrong spends 1pp to get a "Helmet Analysis" resource

TK mulls over his memory of the scan, and realizes that what the Professor may in fact be true. It was like nothing TK has ever seen, let alone has heard of. But what little he can understand about it might be of some help

"Good luck with that mate, his foot's wider than your chest.
No, we won't put you in harms way like that again if it can
be helped, Armstrong. None of us should stand in arms reach
of him if at all possible. He need to off balance him. We
need to distract him. Make him react to us this time, not

Cupid listened to Dreadnought's plan and nodded. She kissed
Impulse's recently bandaged wound, and smiled. She knew it
didn't really have any magic properties, but it always seemed
to work when he mother kissed cuts and bruises. A silly gesture,
but one from the heart.

"Well, if we can pull more of the team away from clean up, we will
be able to get him off balance. Maybe you should call Rictor and
Gambit. And Gemma (sorry she doesn't have a codename yet)even though
she's untrained she can still help rescue people."
she suggested.

Nightcrawler listened to all the suggestions and didn't
really like any of them. Bringing in the inexperienced
Gemma would be a mistake. Gambit got them into this mess,
and Rictor had already been nearly killed helping them in
the past.

"I vould advise against Gemma and Julio. Zis is Gambit's mess

"Right, here's the plan; Impulse, you will establish a psilink and

anything you can do there. Nightcrawler, yourself and Armstrong are to

groups of people race past the X-Men and make for the supposed
safety of their homes. A few hundred yards away a force of National

Spitfire decided to follow Dreadnought's lead since it seemed to have some effect. Not entirely sure why, I mean Richard Simmons rocks.

We've got him off balance, we've got to keep him that way.
The only thing Dreadnought could focus on was the fight right now,
the pain of being in a car wreck was nearly overwhelming him. He
could see the anger and fear welling up from Spitfire.
"Sorry mate, gotta borrow some of that." he whispers,
flipping his ventilator open.

*SSSSSSKKKKRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!*
Concentrated fear and anger explodes from Dreadnought's opened ventilator and
slams into the Juggernaut, staggering the brute. His attention shifts from
Armstrong, the the over turned car Dreadnought is in. He stomps in that direction,
picking up speed.

Cupid's heart raced, Dreadnaught was trapped in the twisted ruin
of a sedan and the Juggernaut seemed angry enough to kill him.
She reached for one of her arrows, not one of her usual tips,
one of the ones she held onto for rare occasions. Hoping she
chose wisely she strung the arrow and took aim.

Rolling team d8, shot through the heart d8, reflexes d10 (burst), weapon d8, combat d6, stunt d10, Jug's stress d6, dazed d12
03:48, Today: Cupid rolled 10,11,16,8 using 1d12,2d10,3d8,2d6 with rolls of 10,9,2,4,5,7,5,3.  21 effect d10.

03:55, Today: Watcher rolled 14,14 using 3d10,3d8 with rolls of 5,5,4,5,2,7.
12 effect 10.

Juggernaut's psych resistance is gone.

Her aim is true and the arrow flies right into the Juggernaut's
left eye-slit, where it sticks and then flashes. The inside of
his helmet suddenly fills with a sticky foam substance that an
observant Armstrong is all to familiar with (having been a victim
of that arrow before).

TK noticing the damage that the Juggernaut was doing to his team caused him to loose all sort of rational thinking. After a while, the Juggernaut grew tired of Armstrong's attack, grabbed him by the upper portion of him body and just squeezed. TK crumpled and feel to the ground, unconscious.

Juggernaut battered aside the National Guard and police barricades
in his path. They were in full retreat. The puny super heroes that
had given him such trouble were broken and lying limp in his wake.
Nothing stood between him and his hated brother.
A familiar car was driving towards him. He recognized the man driving,
and the passenger. Explained where the super wimps had come from.
The car parked a few yards away and Xavier got out, as did the Cajun
Cain had payed to steal his gem.
