Seeing that the Juggernaut could not be slowed the X-Men regroup
(picking up Armstrong along the way) in the Blackbird to organize
a new defense. Dreadnought lands the Blackbird beside a sign that reads;

Dreadnought looked around. His team had never been so out
matched before. Not by the Brotherhood, not by the Wrecking
and certainly not by the MRD.

"Right mates, that didn't go to plan. But it's alright, we've
seen how strong he is so at least we've that goin' for us. How
do we slow 'im down? Anyone got an idea?"

Nightcrawler looked around. His teammates were tense.
All of them were covered in grime, their uniforms torn
in places. All of them had cuts, bruises or burns from
rescuing civilians. It seemed like that's all they'd managed
to do, the Juggernaut didn't slow down any longer than to kick
Armstrong a town away.

"Vell... I could maybe try teleporting him avay. But as fast as
he moves, it von't delay him long."
he said wearily.

Cupid was treating a few cuts Impulse had received
jumping through a burning out car to get to the injured
police officer who'd been trapped inside.

"I could call Clint, see if the Avengers can help. This
guy seems like he's more in their league than ours."
she
suggested. It was a long shot, but maybe they could scramble here
before the Juggernaut smashed apart their home.

Dreadnought's eyebrows furrowed as she said it. She knew he was
scowling under his mask. He didn't like Clint for some reason.

Re: Ultimate X-Men (530) Brotherly Love (One Shot)
Jealousy roared into Dreadnought's mind. Why did
she fancy that dim-witted archer so much?

"No, luv, they'll never get here before he thrashes the
mansion. If he does that then the police will ask why it
was his target. That won't help. We need to pry off that damn
helmet he's got on."
he sighed and tried to relax a little.
All the negative emotion in the cabin was hard to keep at bay.

"Come on mates, get creative here. How do we get his helmet off?
Do that and Impulse will make him cry like a scolded child."

"If we can hold his attention for a few minutes maybe Kurt could snatch it. But how do we distract him when he basically ignores us?" Nathan was beginning to get his head back in the game, his flare up had left him helpless until they were in the air again. Good thing he wasn't worth the big guy's attentions then or he'd be a red smear on the pavement.

"Anybody happen to know what pisses this guy off besides the professor?"
