Arno is the son of a Saxon king who was felled in battle. His mother whisked him away to Brittany to be raised by relatives. On his majority, he sought to return to the land of his father to try and gain vengeance. Instead what he gained was the interest of a Lasombra lord who took him under his wing and nurtured him for two years before finally embracing him. The lord has sent Arno to Caerleon to act as knight and nobleman and to try to gain a position of power within the courts.

Gaius Romanus is a former clerk in the Roman army who stayed behind thanks to his lame leg. In his early fifties, he has been taken in by a group of monks and helps them in scribing scrolls and books from the remains of the empire. He wishes for Albion to recover as a great society.
Describe a location in the ancient city of Caerleon/Camelot - make it a special location, fantastical or horrific in some fashion.
The Scriptorium is a form of library made up of the remaining scrolls from the Roman Empire. Its group of archivists protect the knowledge with their lives.
What is a major issue that all the Vampires in this city face? Being called to train or provide service in daylight hours.
Arno often avoids this by claiming to be in the Scriptorium.
