HeroName: Reckless
Real Name: Ian Blake/Jay Gallagher
Description: Height 5ft 10in, 170 lbs, Black hair buzzed down to nearly bald, black biker leathers from neck to tor, black helmet. Reckless looks like the typical professional bike racer, or an equally proficient outlaw street racer. He is clean cut, but still a little on the rugged side.
His motorcycle of choice is the muscle car of bikes, a Triumph Factory Custom Rocket 3 in black and gray, with a touch of silver. The bike itself looks intimidating and with Reckless in the seat, it looks almost supernatural.
Personality: Reckless is usually stoic when he is working undercover. This is mostly a learned pattern of behavior to keep his secrets, and thus, keep himself alive. When not under such constraints, he can be rather mellow and even has a pretty good sense of humor.
Origin: Reckless was born Jay Gallagher. His mother died early and Jay was left to be raised by his father, an alcoholic cop. That was less than an easy childhood. He decided to best his old man by applying to Quantico. Jay graduated top of his class and was offered a chance to go undercover against the drug cartels. He spent so much time undercover things started to blur. He saw friends killed. Then a girlfriend was killed. When he started to drink heavily, he knew it was time to get out so he finished up his cases on the cartels and prepared to move on.
With a completely new identity in his pocket, the man now documented as Ian Blake decided to ride through the states and clear his head. He was moving through Emerald City when the Silver Storm hit. He discovered that not only had he become “indestructible” by the silver flash, but it seemed his motorcycle had too. Deciding to stick around Emerald City, Ian Blake determined that maybe this was his version of a fresh start.
Complications:
Motivation (Justice): Ian wants to (must) be a better man than his father. He has to be better than the selfish and deadly cartel and gang members. He will not tolerate bullies, leave the underdog to fend for themself, or let somebody else’s rules get in the way of doing what he knows is right.
Identity (Secret) : Reckless must attempt to keep both his current identity as Ian Blake and his birth identity as Jay Gallagher a secret, or he faces complications on a number of different sides.
