Punk
Character Points (CP):
You have the choice of either spending 60 CP points
or
Rolling 9d10, rerolling rolling 2's or less, adding the total up and splitting it between your Stats.
Skill Points:
Standard 40 points to go into your Role skills. Additionally your special feature skill for your Role is limited to 4, I want people to grow into their Role. There is also a cap on the remaining starting skills of 6. Lastly any skill that has an IP modifier needs the initial purchase to include that IP modifier. IE Marital Arts (Thai-Kick Boxing) would cost 4 points base and then each point after that would be +1 point.
Pickup Skills - Standard Int + Ref with same IP mod as above.
Languages - You have a +4 in your native tongue and a +2 in Street Speak. If you know a language in a linguistic family you have an effective 1/2 skill (round down) in similar languages of that family. Otherwise you will need to purchase Know Languages, each linguistic family shows the IP mod for learning your first language within that family. After any secondary languages learned are at -1 IP Mod (Min IP Mod of 1).
LifePath:
Roll as Normal, you may pick style, ethnic origins, & motivations if you prefer
Equipment:
Starting Credits is 2 Months worth
Limited to what is in the Core-book (Cyberpunk2020). Additional books will be made available once the game starts
You may take the 10,000 credit option but please note you are selling yourself for an indefinite amount of time to a Corp, Crime Family or otherwise. For those that take this path please note you can expand to Chrome's 1, 2, 3 or 4 with the 10k in cyber investment.
Employed:
Are you still employed? Well give me a d6 roll, if you rolled higher than a 4 you just got unemployed.
quote:
Congratulations. Betcha Can taste that Kibble already. - Cyberpunk2020
Being employed or Unemployed is a down-time thing, it will not generally affect the outcome of the game. If you are searching for a Job it is happening in your Downtime. Or if you are working at your Job it's during your down time. You continue to make that money. Depending on the "Gig" though some of your other work may interfere enough that you will lose said "gig"
