The Realms Awaited

1. Why you are interested in joining this game
It seems like a fun, fast paced game with potential for longevity.
2. A brief background history of your character
For a halfling, life is about comfort and adventure. Growing up in the security and safety of Cormyr, comfort was not a problem, but adventure was something to be sought after, which meant traveling to other lands. Still, Wyn was wise enough to want to hold onto as much comfort as possible. So when he came of age, it was a simple enough to decide to join the church of Tymora and become a cleric. That way wherever he traveled, there was a good chance to be sheltered by the local church. Healing spells would keep himself and his companions safe, and Wyn would learn enough about combat to bring down those who dared attack him.
3. A brief example of the character in roleplay. Use third person for the writing; if you need a prompt, have your character speaking to an innkeeper to take on a rescue mission of another party of adventurers who disappeared into the mysterious “Sunless Citadel.”
Wyn climbed up on the stool and leaned across the bar. “What’ll it be, cleric?” The innkeeper asked as he continued to wipe down the counter. “A glass of white wine and some information.” Wyn said, making eye contact. “You can have both for a couple of gold coins.” The price was a bit steeper than Wyn suspected, but he slid the coins across the bar anyway. “Any word you can give me about missing adventurers and the Sunless Citadel would be much appreciated.”
4. Consent to use your character if you disappear from the game and don’t post for 1 week without prior notice of your absence.
I consent.
5. If you would like to be considered party leader, and why
I would like to be considered party leader because I am objective and can likely help provide quick resolutions because I am able to check into the game several times each day.
6. Your experience with PBP games, including the longest and shortest game you've participated in
I am coming up on my 4 year mark with a Kingmaker game here on RPOL. I have been in a few games that latest only a couple of weeks because the GM ghosted or otherwise dropped the game.
7. Your usual/standard posting window, in Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday
Noon to midnight EST, and possibly other times as well.
8. Whether or not you'd want to be added to a waiting list and would be willing take over someone else's character
It might depend on the character available, and the timing, but in general the answer is yes.
9. Your ranking on which of the three adventure options you’d like to play most (Sunless Citadel, Saltmarsh, Candlekeep), and if you’ve played the first two or not
I think, in order, I am most interested in Candlekeep, Saltmarsh, and then Sunless Citadel. I have not played any of the adventures.
