Solomon Keys
Background -
Year of Birth - 1970
Year of Embrace - 1992
Solomon Keys was the lead guitarist for an up-and-coming progressive rock band known as Dark Fang when his career was cut short by an untimely car wreck. After years of physical rehabilitation, Solomon returned to the music scene as a much sought after studio musician due to his phenomenal guitar playing speed, precision, and his newly culminated song writing abilities.
The car wreck was a cover for Solomon’s embrace. Unable to commit to music tours and publicity junkets, Solomon reworked himself as a studio musician. This gives him an opportunity to pursue both his love of music and his Brujah agenda.
He was embraced by a Brujah sociologist named Solomon Templar, who also bore a striking physical resemblance to the guitarist. Unbeknownst to Keys, Solomon Templar sired other “lookalike” childer as part of a sociological experiment. Also a secret occult psychological experiment was conducted on Solomon Keys that resulted in a week of missing time/memory.
It was during this period of missing time that Solomon Templar vanished. Despite his best efforts to garner any information on his sire’s whereabouts or well-being. It was as if his sire had simply disappeared from the face of the earth. Once his quest became seemingly futile, Solomon Keys restarted his career as a studio musician. His hopes are for his music and lyrics to play a part on his agenda to find a way to found a New Carthage.
Personality -
Solomon has seen enough natural and supernatural aspects of the world around him, that he is willing to believe that almost anything is possible. He has a strong passion for playing himself and others amidst a “court of possibilities” to see exactly how much is possible, especially in constructing at least a sociological version of a New Carthage. He likes to think of himself as a team player, even if the members of the team keep changing.
