Description: Lon plays the part of the opulent noble well. His grooming and dress are beyond reproach, but he does not give it the meticulous care of those who have become something of a caricature for their style. He wears his dark hair loose and free and his stormy blue eyes can make one question the sincerity of his smile or add an almost graven depth to his frown. Lon likes to keep people guessing by his expressions as well as his words.

Personality: Lon was a trusted advisor and close friend to King Godfrey. With no heir to assume the throne, and dark tidings springing forth in the most unusual places, Lon fears that a civil war will break out for the Emerald Throne. Or worse, dark forces themselves will conquer Legnica. Lon will do whatever he must to keep the kingdom safe and vital. Whatever. He. Must.

Unlike others who only posture to receive clout and favor, Lon values true friendship. Those who make it into his inner circle of friends have a boon companion for life. Those who try to use Lon to a false or wicked end soon find themselves at opposite ends of their desires.

Background: It’s no secret that Godfrey and Lon were childhood friends. Or that the Mordane family were an extremely wealthy family of merchants with an arcane bloodline. So no one thought anything amiss when Godfrey granted Lon his own county to oversee. Trusted advisors were often gifted with such honors and responsibilities, and the ones who could turn the lands into something greater than they were before were often granted even greater responsibilities in the kingdom.

Realm: Mordania, Chaotic Good

Retainers: Erryn, Paladin of Saranrae. Sophia, Cleric of Abadar. Erryn is a dark haired beauty who was pursued by many suitors as the daughter of a successful wine merchant. Luckily for her, she was the third such daughter. To earn her freedom and chase her own destiny, Erryn swore service to Saranrae and became one of the Everlight’s most devoted paladins. It was through Godfrey’s influence that she came to guard Lon and she does so with the ferocity of a mother dog watching over a newborn pup. Sophia is a fair haired enchantress who makes it a point to always prominently display the golden key of Abadar. It is said that she was raised in the temples, and her demeanor would confirm such reports. Although little else is known of her past to Lon. Shortly after being awarded Mordania by King Godfrey, Lon found the cleric on his doorstep. She pronounced that she was to be Lon’s steward and that she would take care of everything. Since then, Lon has left things in her capable hands.
