They really do need to add the option for the player to drop out of a group.

well, I'm back. Kind-of-ish.
Still can't feel the little and ring fingers on my left hand, have weird sensations in my right hand&arm, and my neck hurts from time to time, but otherwise I'm okay. Okay enough to start thinking about rpol, an any rate. Yay for human recuperative abilities. _yay yay ^yay

Was this from the car accident?

Yeah. Well, my mom drove me to the post office snice my wifey needed the car. There was an intersection where some idiot parked to block the view to the left. my mom didn't stop. The other guy came in at 70 kph and with 2 promile of alcohol in his blodostream. he didn't even brake before hitting the passenger-side door. Fortunately the old A4 is built like a tank, and my mom is a short woman (else her legs would have been ground to pulp). My neck got snapped fom side to side and one of the intervertebral discs blew out a bit, putting pressure on the nerves coming out. In addition the nerves in my shoulder got a bit torn, along with a few liagments and the joint capsule.  The pain was absurd - then again I'm a doctor so I know how to safely overdose pain meds, lolz. When I tell my colleagues what kind of cocktail I mixed up for myself they just shake their heads (which is worse than being called nuts, btw).

Nerve damage heals very slowly. It was only a wek or two ago it stoped hurting, and now there's only occasional flashes of pain. And I couldn't sleep in a bed for the first 6 weeks, because lying down would make my right arm hurt. had to sleep sitting up with my arm in a sling. Heh. I hope the feeling comes back into my fingers but that probably won't be.

Funny thing, the interseciton is 50 metres from my house, and I pass it every day.

Well that sucks. Still, be happy, normally nerve damage doesn't heal at all.

What country do you live in? Hopefully one with good medical care.

I'm still here. And I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you. It seems like you're recovering at least a bit now, and that's amazing news. I hope that you get healthy as soon as possible. I send my prayers.

Holy crap. Sorry to hear about the incident. I wish you a speedy recovery. I am still interested in playing, mostly. Might want to change concepts if that's okay.

I'm afraid I have got involved in another game and I am not sure I will have the time to do both adequately.  I will ponder on this and see what comes up.

How was your mum? You mentioned she was driving but didn't say how she fared. Is she okay?

she's okay. fortunately she only hurt her head, and as we know the head dcontains no vital organs :D. After her concussion passed and her scalp stitched (took only 2 or 3 stitches) she was as good as new.

Did you buy a lottery ticket? You sound like you were lucky it wasn't worse.
