Re: Mission 1: Team WaaaGH!
(Un)fortunately, no more enemies challenge the party. The dead end stays quite dead, with no unded additions. There are definite sounds of movement fom the other side of the walls, though, but nothing seems interested in broaching into the side street you are in.
Apart from the rabbbt's foot and copper coins, there is nothing else of value here. If you feel particularly copper-pinching, the slings the kobolds were using might fetch a copper apiece. Their rusty, damaged dagger-sized blades seem worthless - perhaps the blacksmith might smelt them and make something useful out of the metal. They had no armor. What hoard they might have is probably behind the horthern wall, through the small cracks they barely squeezed through to attack you. You could break the wall down, or climb over it into the adjoining space.
Who has the rabbit foot?
A guard opens the gate, in answer to Ghorgat's banging, just a little bit. His name is Shortly, and he is the guy who usually draws the shortest straw. The other guards are on top of the three-metre wall, well protected and ready to throw down spears and rocks should there be trouble.
Because, let's be honest, who in their right mind wants to open the door for four violent, gore-splattered half-orcs?
"Oh... hey. Come in, come in. Good show." Shortly has an aristrocratic accent, which is strange, because he is a simple guardman. He pulls the outer gate open to let the party through, and stays well clear of the gore-soaked members.
Boros is having a snack in the small square on the other side of the gate. He grunts something through a mouthful of onions and cheese, and points to a large basket labeled "Kobold Heads". Finally, he swallows and washes it down with applewine.
"Good job. Each kobold head turned in is rewarded by ten copper in the town hall. You can take the rest of the day off and get settled in. Questions?"
