I hope your BBQ went fine and everyone in Calgary is only slightly wet, Erik, where do you live now again? I finally looked at the news and saw what was happening, amazing!

Oh we're in NW Calgary, way above the waters of the river.  Though Mike's having to stay at Gabe's place, the power is off to his area due to the flooding.

Yeah, had to move the BBQ to Gabe's place since I got evacuated like most of downtown Calgary.  Seems the evac order is still in effect though at least it is not raining here presently.

Got a free day off work though, so that was kinda good.

Zelpuz starts to wonder why he even came along down here. Vanyra would obviously be better off on her own. He reassures himself that he might make up for the extra burden somehow at some point, or at least not end up ruining their pursuit in the end.
With the light coming through the cracks, Zelpuz can start to make out some shapes in the tunnel, just enough that he thinks he can start to take a few steps by himself without causing . He farts. And becomes so overwhelmed the emitted stench that he lost several magical powers.

Anyways, obviously, the telepathic link will stay and Zelpuz listens to what Vanyra tells him.
Can he actually see only through her eyes now or two pairs of eyes? Otherwise (assuming it really is bright enough to see a bit) he'll drop the seeing through Vanyra's eyes.

I don't think i have anything like a 'mind reading shield', right? The mind shield I have is just for me? Or does that work on others as well? Then it'd be harder for me to communicate too though, right? And ... is that mind shield 'always on'?
I should probably look those up myself, but things are a bit crazy right now.

Question for GM: Is the Mespah Vanyra previously "saw" Lasrange?  Does she know what he looks like from Zelpuz?

Ok, gotcha.  Well since she does not really know what Lasrane looks like since Zelpuz has not given a description (at least not that I know of), it would be difficult for her to know if the Mespah she saw was him.

So in other words she should perhaps as Zelpuz what this guy looks like, though now may not be the best time to do that.

On another note his Mind Shield is a personal effect only; he cannot shield others with it.

That's also why I asked if she knew what Lasrange looked like from Zelpuz.  Given that they were looking for him, would he have told her or mentally shown her?

I would say we probably talked about Lasrange, but it would be too convenient to say now we did an extensive description. We'll just have to leave that for later and for now go with Zelpuz' guess of him being the only one involved in this group.

There is more of the conversation to happen.  I just need to get home and check my notes for some stuff... do not seem to have a copy of them on my work computer.

Good question, but no he cannot.  He can only see through her eyes, it would be an additional power to hear what she does.  Of course she could just be relaying what she here in a paraphrase fashion; that is sort of where I am going with this dialogue.  I figure one way or another Zelpuz will get the gist of the conversation.

If someone were to walk through the door where Vanyra and Zelpuz are, are there any other options than fight? I.e. is there a chance they could hide or that they won't see them due to their abilities? Or would they walk into them (what's the size of the tunnel?)

And can we make out any visual information through the door?

Well normally you guys would be in plain sight, but given that both Vanyra and Zelpuz have unique stealth powers it is reasonable that you could simply 'hide' in plain view, pressed against a wall or around a corner. It may require a stealth check or something to adequately conceal yourselves out of the way of anyone walking out the door.

That's why I did previously mention Vanyra was looked for ways to do that. ;)

Sounds good. Just double checking the options, so yes, Zelpuz will be in some 'nook' with his riffle ready as close as possible to Vanyra.

Ah, and do we have any chance of seeing any part of the room through the door? Like how big it is, possibly how many other doors etc etc?
