Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

Sorry but what monsters are we facing this round? If we survive can we we leave dungeon and see if we can level up? We are doing a lot of fighting

Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

Assuming the original premise of this game is still intact:  There is no leaving the dungeon.
We need to find one of the safe zones scattered throughout the mega-dungeon.

Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

I thought I had it pretty clear in the description that this was a nearly bottomless dungeon. The goal is an artifact-level magic item, or actually a trio of them.

The dungeon does have safe zones in it, here and there, but in essence you are not far off, it is combat heavy, and role-play light. I really wasn't shy about explaining that, either. If that is a problem, let me know, this is a good place to die.

Games no fun without the risk though, right? I hope? I like to walk that edge, and hope you guy care enough about your characters to try and survive.

I frequently become too emotionally attached to my characters.  Even now, at my ever-advancing age.

I tried to resurrect one I was particularly fond of recently, but having heard nothing from that DM I think he wasn't accepted.

Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

I applaud the risk of death, even if it means losing my character.

If our character does die, do we generate a new one to drop into the group, or are we out?  No harm either way...

I really don't know, I guess we would have to discuss it.

Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

I guess it will have to be a case by case basis. Maybe they were already here and their prior party got killed or separated. They were not the party mapper so they have no clue where they were.

Party mapper? I would love to see what someone has put together of the dungeon so far.

I had started a map for the original delve, but it's been years and I'll damned if I have any idea where that is now.

I thought Arog was back this weekend, but it seems he may have gotten tied up again. I will give him till early evening, then post again for him so we can move on.

Not having a map or board with figurines is one of the worst things about playing online.  Without the visual, I frequently I have a hard time understanding where everything is.

Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

Not sure that is strategically sound, gonna wait another day for you to get a chance to look at things, not that big of a rush.

What events do you have for Veteran's day? I'm jealous, I'm a veteran and I'm not even gonna leave the house.

Can't honestly think of a Veteran's Day for me that was anything else. I see some towns have parades and stuff.

Re: OOC - 5/21/2020

Spent it getting the brakes on the truck fixed and keeping an eye out on the Tropical Storm that is expected to make landfall in  the county I live in.

What branch Ruddly? (US Army for me, back when there was still a West Germany.)
