   Agon remained silent for a moment after the god's departure, then took a deep breath and turned to his new companions. After studying each of them for a few seconds he introduced himself again, including the woman with a polite nod.

   "Before getting started, we should take this opportunity" he began, waving at the private room, "to have a discussion while we are safe from eavesdropping. This is a secret mission, after all."

   "Let us get to know one another," he began with a smile, " discuss our plan, and make sure we are all ready for the trials to come."

   He met each man's eyes. "Does anyone here have extensive experience of the dark realm known as the Shadowfell ?" he asked, implying that he for one did not.

The "plain" little man shakes his head. "I am a bit out of my depth. I have never left the Prime Material plane, though I have been all over my world. Where are each of you from, out of curiosity?"

"Ah'm frae Faerun" said Harald.  "Ah've been tae the Shadowfell but Ah couldnae be said tae have much knowledge of it.  Ah wasnae there for long - just long enough tae dae the job Ah went for and tae pick up this."  He gestured to a dragon's tooth embedded in his shield.

"He didnae hae any mair use for it."  He chuckled, not a pleasant sound, before turning towards the old mist-enshrouded man.

Seeing that the god had left their presence, the gnome started to calm down. "I'm from a small town in the Feywild. Not many outside of town have heard of it." Marice pulled out a coin and started fiddling with it, a smile plastered on his face. "I haven't been to the Shadowfell so I don't know much about it."

"I have never fought in the dark realm, but I have some experience in fighting out of my plane." Nemeroff says to the others. "I'm from the Elemental Chaos, and I'm serving as a battle captain in the army. All my life, I have led mens in combat against intruders of my plane." he continues.

The Genasi takes his breath and adds "I have even fought with Bahamut's army in the past, and I'm goign to help him again."

Zog betrays a bit of surprise on his mild face. "Remarkable. Have you…well…ever SEEN him?" There is a bit of awe in his voice.

"No, he was sending me magicals messages to give me some instructions for the battle." he says.

Zog nods, looking a bit crestfallen. "I have seen some remarkable things, but that is singularly amazing to me."

He turns to Harald. "What is 'Faerun?' Is that the name of your world? Mine is called the Oerth."
