Re: OOC #2

Okay, I knew this would happen. The box text here makes such a big deal about the blue Exarch that it distracts you from what your characters would actually be thinking.

Reminder to you of something your characters would remember: your goal is to go find an Efreet king, not fight dragons here. You fight the blue exarch here, you end up fighting about 500 dragons. Very bad.

The big blue dragon is a DISTRACTION for the HORDE OF ENEMIES around the area. He is an opportunity to get past the gate without four times as many enemies swarming you.

If that reminder changes your last post, go ahead and make changes. If you have questions, PM Me.

If I have one of the horde start punching the Big Blue D, does it have to appear controlled?

Re: OOC #2

To be clearer: the Blue Exarch is about A HALF MILE AWAY. It's not anywhere near in range of any of your attacks, or anyone you can control. It's a big, fat blue Red Herring. It's an opportunity for you guys to do something nearby.

Re: OOC #2

Gromley is planning on making you all invisible--does anyone have anything to make the group silent? Or of assisting the party in sneaking quietly?

Your foes' Passive Perception averages around 30, so you will need something to help sneak by.

Agon does have Tenser's Floating Disk, which could float by invisibly and quietly. It could hold 2000 pounds but is only 3 feet in diameter.

In reply to EpicOne (msg # 948):

Given our environment, as long as we don't make a lot of noise, the burning, hissing and other sounds should drown our noises. Granted if we start yelling or moving at full speed the armor might make more noise, but none of these creatures seem to be able to navigate by sound alone.

Intriguing. Everyone declare whether they're going on a disk (which can hold, realistically, two of you each, one sitting on the other's lap) and who's sneaking.

Re: OOC #2

Just a side note-I have this.

Tenser's Circular Shield-Tenser's floating disk has bubble over it that only
user can get through without mental permission. Objects gain resist 20 damage
on disk.

Pretty sure that does not help PCs in the least, but it will protect your stuff. And keep the rain/snow off and such.

I think Harald should go on a shield as his sneaking is virtually non-existent.
