Nodding at Agon as he was giving his explanations and casting protection, Darratheir looked around him like if he was searching something. Finally, he said "I survived the Great Black Fire. I don't fear them and I will kill them all one by one if I need to." He then rolled his shoulder and tapped his boots on the ground in order to prepare himself for the assault.

Achewally Ah was mair thinkin' aboot you wee buggers; they minion guys.  There's a fair few o' them an'if they start tae mob us, things could get gey sticky.  That's why Ah was thinkin' o' tryin' tae thin their numbers a bit.  They big fellas can throw us intae those vent thingies if ye get too close an' so Ah was thinkin' that those o' ye who can attack frae distance should try tae deal wi' them withoot gettin' inta arms reach."

He looked for support ro the rest of the party.

"I will smite as fast as they come, but as long as they shelter behind those walls many will survive. For now, I will cover the northern flank." Agon replied.

OOC: Further note on tactics.  Chain Lightning's minion clearing effect is enemies within 20' squares of me with LoE.  Right now, most of the guys on the board are protected. Going to save that power for when it can truly clear the board.

Wall of Elemental Stone: The barracks com- plex of the Ring of Fire has been surrounded by a cordon of elemental stone for protection. This rough stone wall is 60 feet high, 10 feet thick, and can be climbed with a DC 19 Athletics check. Any creature that comes into contact with the wall or starts its turn there is pummeled by the wall and subject to an attack: +33 vs. Reflex; 3d8 + 10 damage, and the target falls from the wall and is knocked prone. A creature that falls from the wall takes additional fall- ing damage as normal.
The heroes are free to fly over the wall, but they draw ranged attacks and will be pursued by the ground forces here. The total flying distance from one side of the wall to the other is 130 feet (26 squares).
Rubble These areas of loose scree are difficult terrain. A creature that runs, charges, or makes a double move through rubble must make a DC 20 Acrobatics check or fall prone.
Rubble Pile Fallen rock and debris are piled to a height of 10 feet. A rubble pile must be climbed with a DC 15 Athletics check. Remember, if you have a modifier of +14 or higher, you do NOT have to roll.
Elemental Vent Vents jetting pure elemental energy dot the area before the wall. Any creature that ends its turn adjacent to an elemental vent takes 3d6 + 6 cold, fire, and lightning damage. A creature that enters an elemental vent or starts its turn there takes 3d10 + 10 cold, fire, and lightning damage, and is stunned (save ends).  Each round on initiative count 0, roll a d10 for each elemental vent. On a roll of 10, the vent flares up unpredictably. Any creature adjacent to the vent takes 3d8 + 8 fire damage.
Building: Buildings adjacent to the area are of stone construction and from 30 to 50 feet high.

Zog, meanwhile, did what he did best: he blasted at one of the more durable foes, wounding him...

Elemental Bolt on P1, hit (Ref 40) for 59 lightning damage and P1 is vulnerable 3 to all my lightning attacks until EOMNT.

On a roll of 10, the vent flares up unpredictably. Any creature adjacent to the vent takes 3d8 + 8 fire damage.

Martha sees Darra moving up beside her to defend her, and is grateful. But as she approaches the enemy, her eyes blaze with light and she descends on the largest of the enemies near the wall like an angel of doom. The efreeti pyremaster is shaken, leaving an opening for Darra to exploit.

Harald darted forward, moving into a charge as he nimbly crossed the rubbly ground.

“Tak’ that ya eejit” he roared as his axe sliced into the closed efreet.

Despite his anger he was not oblivious to the situation and his eyes scoured the area for further enemies.

Martha wounds another one of the pyremasters and curses him. Harald destroys one of the flamerunners; this triggers attacks from two of the magmacasters, both of whom hit Harald's armor, scorching it but not him.

Two of the flamerunners rush up to Harald to attack him; two others explode in a blast of fire and reappear next to Harald in a wreath of fire and smoke.

One of the magma-casters attacks Martha, but discovers that his fire has no effect on her.

A great door is pushed open from within the barracks and a number of other flamerunners rush out, whooping and howling.

F12 and F3 charge Harald; F12 crits for 10 damage and 10 ongoing fire (the latter of which he ignores). F11 and F1 teleport next to Harald; F11 hits for 10 more untyped damage.

M11 attacks Martha; hitting or missing doesn't matter as her fire resistance is higher than his max damage.
