Chapter 7.5: The Final Battles

The stunned beholder continues to reel while its compatriot continues to freeze it.

B1 miraculously fails its save vs. stunned again. B2 hits B1 for 22 hp cold and gives it -2 to saving throws. B1 does make its save vs. the central eye from B1, though.

Features of the Area:
Illumination: The chamber is brightly lit by the starscapes—for characters who are standing on any of the platforms. Creatures on the bridges and down on the chamber floor see only the glow of the bridges, so the entire chamber is dimly lit for them. In other words, visible light depends not on the light source but on where the creature is standing.
Ceiling: The ceiling of the cavern is 30 feet above the platforms and 150 feet above the floor.
Platforms: Characters see different starscapes when standing on each platform, but the stars disappear from view as soon as the character steps off.
Chamber Floor: The floor is featureless stone 120 feet below the platforms.

With the two Beholder in reach, Darratheir focuses on the one that his closest to its end.

Standard action: Rage Strike (Expanding Thunderfury Rage) vs B1 - 48 vs AC for 54 damage

07:46, Today: Darratheir Burnedbear rolled 54 using 6d12+24 with rolls of 7,12,1,6,3,1.  Damage Roll.

Zog then tries to finish the damaged beholder, blasting both him and his compatriot with mighty lightning!!

Elemental Bolt + my last Elemental Escalation, hits B1 (Reflex 53) for 74 lightning and blinded until EOMNT; hits B2 (Reflex 50) for 71 lightning + blinded until EOMNT.
