Entering the guildhall, you come accross  Aemon, the ranking
frontman. He sits at a desk decorated with a carved wooden
sign from the old Rogues' Guild,
Anything that isn't nailed down is mine,
anything I can pry up, isn't nailed down

Behind him on the wall is a newer sign;
All weapons larger than a cubit  MUST be checked or
 peacebonded, staves not included

He prominently wears a gold administration badge marked IV.

Reanna wanders back into the guildhall from her excursion around town. She tips her head in Aemon's direction as she passes, telling him "Good Morning". It didn't matter what time of day it was, Reanna always said good morning, on the premise it was morning some where.

In reply to Reanna Draegan (msg # 2):

"Afternoon ta ye, Mithtress Draegan. How goes yer dae?"

"Boring," Reanna says as way of reply. "I was out looking for opportunities, but haven't found anything interesting yet. If you hear of something, let me know, would you?"

A tall thin man in traveling clothes opens the door and steps through. His dark eyes scan the room, but he smiles at what he sees.

He looks over the administrator and his signs but remains off to the side as the dark haired woman tries to get some business going. Beordir is not sure what business she is inquiring about. I'm sure the Guild handles all kinds.

Given the weight of his purse, that was somewhat the same conversation Beordir was planning to have. He listens quietly so as to not inhibit the flow of any juicy tidbits he could use.

The door swings open again before McCain can answer.

A slick looking man in fine clothing walks in, accompanied by
 a larger rougher and uglier looking one in leathers,
carrying a broadsword and battered shield

As Reanna was chatting with Aemon, she heard the door open and watched as the stranger entered. She knew several of the members of the guild, but this new fellow wasn't one of them. She gives him a slight nod of the head in acknowledgement of his presence before turning back to Aemon. But before she can speak, the door opens again, and she recognizes Laurence and his guard enter. Another tip of her head, as she speaks, "Seems we have quite the party coming together."

In reply to Reanna Draegan (msg # 7):

"Masugatan, ye are gonna hae ta check ta blade or be
 peacebonded. Cassile, ye hae privilege an dinna need tae
check ta rapier.
Mithtress Draegan ye hae ta check with Mistress Camilla  o
Master Rugedor."

"Thank you Master Aemon. Are they in there usual areas or somewhere different?"

In reply to Reanna Draegan (msg # 9):

"Master Rugedor might be inns small conference room on ta upper level, Mithtress Camilla hight inna larger one also inna upper level."

"Thsnk you again, Master Aemon," Reanna says as she takes leave. She gives on last glance at the stranger and Master Castile before heading to the stairs leading to the upper level.

Beordir considers the party comment and replies, "Certainly, but what could we all be used for."

Having not considered the other areas of the building, he watches after the woman before taking the stairs after her.

In reply to Beodir Nalas-Radin (msg # 12):

Once past the entryway, and Yeoman Charra's crack team of
halberdiers who enforce the weapons policy, you enter the
dining hall, a two story room furnished with benches and
trestle tables, a sset of stairs up to a balcony level that has shops, rentable rooms, conference rooms and some quarters for ranking guild members. there are two enteances to the kitchen, and a long line of guild members heading in one with
empty bowls  and exiting with stew and bread.

The guildmembers are a mixture of mercenaries, mountbanks,
and rogues of every stripe. There are orcs, goblins, dwarves,
elves, and one half ogre.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 13):

A woman with brass knuckles, who had been talking to the half
 ogre walks purposefully  over to Masugatan  and Cassile, and
raises an eyebrow at Beodir.
"Laurence! How did your little expedition go?"

Beordir raises his eyebrows slightly, but offers, "MY expedition went reasonably. I came back alive but only with some small coin."

He pauses a moment, before saying, "I'm afraid you have confused me with someone else. I'm not Laurence. My name is Beordir Nalas-Radin, but I am glad to meet you."

In reply to Beodir Nalas-Radin (msg # 15):

"Dat's Okay Beodir, I am Laurence. I had some luck, bailed out a guy for spitting onthe Hadereum and cussing at da head Plutocracy. Some other business went real good too."
