"Or it could just be a way to let the grue drip off the cart without pooling in a way that would lock up the wheels, and keep people from stealing it."

Re: Broderick's Expedition

Broderick looks at the lower portion of the ramp which would be a collection point for any grue that would drip off the hand cart, as Timeon pointed out. Best take those Broberic states pointing at the broom, crowbar, polearm & shovel.

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 807):

"I can see the use of the crowbar for any doors that key will not open, but I did not hire on to shovel shit. I do not have skill with a billhook, and I doubt any of the rest of us do. Gaspard, are you a poleaxer or a rapierist?"

In reply to Gaspard (msg # 809):

Indeed, good fellows I too prefer the Rapier;  however these items can be sold or used for other purposes. Prompts Broderick. Placing these into the hand cart and finish their investigation of the rooms then head back to where Otty is.

Re: Broderick's Expedition

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 812):

Within the small room are a short flight of stairs, with a waist high ledge on either side.
Tat the top of the stairs is a bunk with rumpled bedclothes, and before it hangs a hammock.  Niches in the wall contain a lantern, spare oil, and a few books. a spare tunic hangs on one wall, and a string of sausages on another. the place smells strongly of orc.  A spare pair of boots are on the second step.

Re: Broderick's Expedition

In reply to Narrator (msg # 813):

This looks like the orcs sleeping quarters. Carruthers gather the lantern and oil we could use them later. Pot the books in the hand cart. Those sausages may even be something Otty could eat. [Private to GM: scan the room for hiding spots ]

Placing the located winfall, in the hand cart; being careful not to get close to the quills in the sack. The hammock is used as additional padding to keep the poisonous barbs inplace.  Broderick leads the others back to the room where Otty is. Otty would you care to explore with us?

Re: Broderick's Expedition

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 826):

The ordinarily semicoherent priest becomes frenetic and loud, if spraying froth from his lips.
As it is foretold, it will come to pass, that the devour of worlds and time will come
to consume all.  The dead shall walk, the skies will dim, the bowels of Hell will evacuate
their demonic contents upon the earth  until those too are consumed. Only the faithful shall
know the bliss of oblivion whilst all creation writhes in the agony of dissolution into the void."
