Re: A matter of concern for the Hadereum
In reply to Hograth Podkarmen (msg # 740):

The gate creaks open, the lock being a little stiff. Beyond is a narrow dusty hall with recent footprints (several).
The hall turns before ending in a spiral staircase.

In reply to Hograth Podkarmen (msg # 753):

The spiral staircase continues upward, you are not certain which god this temple is dedicated to, but you have a suspicion that it isn't being used for that purpose.
[Private to Narrator: the temple is of Flora and Janus, and had been home to orgies; also it is a place attuned to gate magic. Statues of Flora show her robed and with a crown of flowers and garlands of the same, janus has two faces. The usual demonologists and cultists, with a succubus that looks wingless and flower crowned, mixed gender cultists - a sex cult front to an elder thing cult. There is a lurking demon from between the stars]

Urrun figures that means he should get his sling out and does so ... with a plain lead projectile.
