She grins at Gareth "Yes, no spells is perfect. And I don't mind taking the first watch. Maybe my cousin can take the second one." she sips some wine and lets her cousin have some. She will let Berry have some if she wants it.

Berry will certainly take a sip of the wine. This way she can claim she's already been drinking and will have to let someone else take her shift tonight. Just in case.

Haveron patted Mischa on the shoulder with a wide grin a the notion of them guarding together.
"Hopefully, we'll have no trouble, eh?

She sips more wine after Berry does. "OK, anyone else want any? We should prepare to settle down for the night or guard duty"

Haveron let out a laugh at Mischa's words "I think that if anyone steps within a half-score yard of our blades they're already done for", he said in good humour.

With that, Haveron set off around the camp, just getting a feel for the layout and expanse around them. More than anything, it made him feel like he was doing something rather than just standing around waiting for an attack that rarely ever happened.

Berry whispers to Sorsha, "Half a score yards? Let's just hope any attackers forgot to bring a flight spell and crossbows."

"We oughta bring archers with us next time, boss. I spotted a few among the retainer, at least one will be on shift for each watch."

Haveron continued walking, and nodded in agreement with Amelia "You are right, of course. he said taking a contemplative moment before continuing.

Did you ever learn to use a bow Amelia? I can't recall, but perhaps it wouldn't be unwise to let you use mine for practice?

Raining stones you say? Now that i'd also like to see, but when we're finished with this shift, would you be grand and get me another tankard of wine? he said to Sorscha, while wiating for them to reply to Amelia's question.

In response to that however he did nod, concerned a little that she might jump into some swordplay should the situation come up; Haveron did not like that idea one bit.

He just shakes his head.

"Now Gareth, Amelia is only interested in helping. We understand you may have had some traumatic life events, but everyone here is your friend he said gently, but firmly admonishing the tone he took with Amelia




I really like the party dynamic atm :) it's quite fun to see how it builds/develops
