Melchizadek leads the laden donkey towards the commotion. He sensed he would be needed soon, and kept an eye out for trouble.

In reply to Masugatan (msg # 754):

Balar's right leg goes out from under him as Aegis' mace crushes his knee. He raises his shield, just barely blocking Masugatan's cleave, and lashes out at Ageis' leg, cutting for 11 points before DR.

Re: Stalking Balar

Darius spoke another word of power. Black ice began to form around Balar's legs, quickly growing upwards.

[Private to GM: OOC:
Casting the (last) prepared Frozen Bonds spell.

Retroactive Preparation Roll: 22:40, Today: Darius Kopaki rolled 12 using 3d6.  Prep roll: Frozen Bonds vs Elementalism-2; vs 16.

Roll to cast: 22:40, Today: Darius Kopaki rolled 8 using 3d6.  Roll to task Frozen Bonds, vs Elementalism; vs 18.

Results:
1) Quick contest vs Balar to actually affect it; this is against the higher of HT or will. My own MOS is 10 (roll above).
2) If successful, Balar will be bound, with the engulfing modifier (BS40): It will have to roll a quick contest of ST vs 24 to break free (this also costs 1 FP). If it does not succeed, it will be unable to do anything but spells and its innate attack. It can repeat that every ten seconds.

In reply to Dne Utrotare (msg # 762):

Balar resists Darius spell, hoar frost forming on his armor, but not encasing him in ice.
He tries to block Masugatan's slice, and feels it even through his armored codpiece.
Aegis' kick fails to harm him, but knocks him back, causing Reanna to have to readjust her aim.

Dne can see his face go white as he is blasted by air. He looks overwhelmed.

Two want to accept the deal.  The priest of Helios, who has no affiliations with justice ( light, the sun, music, and healing)  doesn't necessarily agree with the Hadereum either.

Your employers are actually the merchant's guild.

"I used my rope with the previous brigand. Your men did try to rob us, despite me clearly stating that I am a priest who helps the poor. I am going to need to hear a good reason not to hand you over to the merchants guild, who have been on the pointy end of your thievery, and who asked the Adventurers guild to help end it."
