In reply to Stenet Fjall (msg # 698):

Mal'ga Mar is nearly hit by an arrow as he releases a ball of exploding lightning at the armored men to the right, and seems to shock the priest!

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 701):

The archers let arrows fly...as one catches fire. (Left or right side?)
Two arrows miss Christine, one misses Haskell,
one potentially strikes Stenet from his side for 6 points impaling before Dar, and one sswings at him for a potential 8 points cutting before DR

All of the lightning blasted soldiers are injured but unaffected.
Two of them chop at Jednesa, and one at Haskell, but none do any effective damage.

 the EHP is stunned.

The young woman turns to run.

In reply to Jednesa (msg # 681):

I've watched Jednesa fight many times and I'm familiar with the effects of many curses.  I'm deducing what's wrong with her.  She hasn't said anything, but if she's swinging wildly and maybe rubbing her eyes, I may be able to figure it out.

[Private to GM: If I can figure it out, I'll start stepping toward her while casting Restore Sight for five seconds).]

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

Jednesa gives the swordsmen shes grabbed a quick toss straight up, hard as she can and then steps towards where she heard the Priest chanting a moment ago.

OOC:  All-Out Attack (Determined, Ranged)

22:03, Today: Jednesa rolled 15 using 3d6.  Throwing 14 (Skill 13 + 1 AOA).

If she is successful, he travels 12 yards upwards...  then gravity becomes his harsh mistress.

Note, presuming a 250 pound swordsmen n full kit.  If heavier (271 or more) he'll travel a shorter distance, if lighter (179 or less).  Her thrust damage (if he smacks into something instead of just taking falling damage) is 3d, which if his weight falls between 181 and 360 is what she does with thrown objects... which now that i've calculated what a 12 yard fall damage is... meh.  She should have just slammed him into the ground, she hits harder than the earth does.

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

Stenet dances and sweeps around with his shield attempting to ward off the blows...

22:20, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 10 using 3d6.  Defense roll 1.  Block 15 if the archer was on his shield side, Dodge 10 if from the other side.

22:23, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 9 using 3d6.  Defense roll 2.  Block 15 he didn't already block the arrow, Dodge 10 if he used his block, or the swordsmen is on his weapon side.

-2 if the attack came from his side, so Block 13, Dodge 8.

In reply to Stenet Fjall (msg # 706):

Stenet is unscathed.

Jednesa hears a satisfying thud/oof! combination
(12 yards higher than your shoulder height of three yards is 15 yards, so a little more damage.)

Malga'Mar cast a spell, and a powerful thunderclap echoes in the courtyard, but none of the D'Ivore folk seem affected by it.

Haskell stabs the wounded soldier again, but he remains on his feet - barely.

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

If there is an archer nearby with a bow in his hands (within a Step and Reach 1) he'll swing at them, if not he swings at the disarmed archer.  Either way he turns a facing to keep the swordsmen on his sides and off his rear (and hopefully the archers in frontish of him).

OOC:  Defensive Attack, +1 Parry.

20:48, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 13 using 3d6.  Axe/Mace 17, Defensive Attack.

20:49, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 8 using 2d6-1.  Potential damage, 2d-1 cutting.

You cut down the nearest (recently disarmed) archer, while shifting your facing so as to only have archers in front, and swordsmen to your shield side.

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 712):

There are two archers to each side, including the one you just disarmed

So: Stenet is occupied by two archers (busy drawing arrows) aand three swordsmen.

Jednesa and Haskell are fighting two archers (busy drawing arrows) one knife fighter, one swordsman, and the (currently stunned) high priest.

Jednesa is blind, and has suffered slight injury to the wrist and ankle.

Haskel is making his way toward the ehp

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

The priest having fallen silent, Jednesa makes another wild grab at one of the fighters who have been hitting her, but misses.

OOC:  All Out Attack (Determined), Blind -10.

09:20, Today: Jednesa rolled 11 using 3d6.  Grab, Wrestling 10 (Skill 16 + 4 AOA - 10 Blind).

Also, I missed the leg hit earlier so she is bleeding out of a slash on her leg.  6 injury isn't enough to cripple her leg, but it is a enough to become worrisome if we are doing Cumulative Crippling, as two more such hits would cripple.

In reply to Jednesa (msg # 720):

an arrow rebounds off of Chris, who has just been standing by the gate.

Malga'Mar builds up another ball of explosive lightning.

Haskell blocks a hi, and slashes his opponent, who staggers, already weakened by the prior lightning strike.

The priest snaps out of it!

Jednesa feels another swipe at her leg (6 points before DR)

Two of the soldiers on Stenet try to strike him.
If successful, one does 11 points cutting before DR, and the other does 6 points impaling before DR
