A rather confused and obviously angry humanoid composed entirely of flame manifests in the entranceway. Those nearby can feel the heat emanating from its flaming aura.

The remaining archer spies it and aims for it.

The ogre releases his bolt of lightning, aiming at the priest, and blasts him with it, knocking him down! the electricity also reaches the enraged, and now seeing, ogress, and one of the soldiers. The soldier also collapses.

Jednesa takes 1 point electrical after DR, and needs to see if it stuns her, or just makes her angrier.

Christine, alarmed, immediately casts another spell as she tries to sweet talk the elemental into attacking her enemies rather than her, since they just fired on it!

[Private to GM: Control Elemental, rolled 8 under skill, so maybe a chance? How many CP is he built on? If she knows this is built on more that 160 cp she would know she could not control it, and would cast Resist Fire instead.]

The creature is not in a state to negotiate. The archer fires an arrow at it, striking it in the flank, and it turns to it, and lobs the fireball into her face, knocking her out.

The soldier on Haskell trades blows with him, his attack b3ing blocked, and Haskell's thrust glancing off of his armor.

The two on Stennet try to swing at him, doing 5 and 6 points cutting before DR if not defended against.

The archer nearest Jednesa is aiming, the other is fleeing.

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

Jednesa roars again and spotting the prone Cleric rushes forward, drops to a knee, grabs his head and gives a mighty twist...

OOC:  All Out Attack (Determined), 4 movement points as part of move and crouch, Rapid Strike/Flurry of Blows, grabbing (Wrestling 16) the Cleric's head/neck (-5 Hit Loc + 4 Determined - 3 RS/FB), followed by Neck Snap (Power Grappling 32 + 4 Determined - 3 RS/FB).

14:24, Today: Jednesa rolled 10, 17 using 3d6,3d6.  Flurry 2, Grab (12) and Neck Snap (33).

14:37, Today: Jednesa rolled 20 using 5d6+2.  Potential Neck Snap damage, 5d+2Deals 1.5 times injury mod.

The Evil Cleric gets his Neck Snap resistance which is his ST or HT, whichever is higher.  He only needs to not fail the roll as Jednesa has actually failed her's.  If he does fail, but can't beat a MoS of 16, then he takes the damage.  Rigid DR protects normally, flexible DR does not.

Spent 2 FP.

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

Stenet blocks one and parries the other and then shouts, "Hear that roar?  She wants blood!  Surrender now and live, fight and you die!"

OOC:  14:48, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 14, 10 using 3d6, 3d6.  Block 15, Parry 15.

Concentrate Maneuver, Intimidating the remaining foes.

14:52, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 15 using 3d6.  Intimidate 13.

MoS -2.  A poor showing... however the enemy should be nearly in rout (so I might get bonuses or they penalties).

By my count all three Leaders are down, so their 'center' has collapsed.  All the swordsmen are either down, or badly wounded and and about to fall, 2 of them may be completely unwound (the ones facing Stenet), but that means the other 4 are likely down.  The archers are at 3/4ths strength without meatsheilds having been relatively ineffectual.

Your count is accurate.

Jednesasnatches up the limp cleric, aand tries to twist his neck, but the sweat of her hand slips on his helmet, and shecatches the flanges of the wings on his helm u der her nail, taking 1 point of damage. The man seems as limp as a rag doll, although she has a good grip on him.

In reply to D'Ivoire High Priest (msg # 745):

"Chris, use your pick to help Stennet..."

She herself moves away from the fire creature, towards Stennet, hoping to draw the thing towards the swordsmen, but staying out of their reach as well. Ideally, she wants to put the swordsmen between her and the thing...

[Private to GM: She can really only create water to possibly damage it, having no cold spells. How much damage would that do?]

Make a roll vs hidden elemental lore if you can to onow what affects it.

Christine looks closely at the creature to work out what can be done with it, if it can be placated or how to otherwise deal with it.

Did the enemy archer fire at it?

[Private to GM: She does not Hidden Lore (Elementals), but rolled a 10, which is 5 under Hidden Lore (Magic Items) or Theaumatology (both 15) if either of these would work.]

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 748):

The archer had struck it, which is why it blasted them. Hidden lores are without default from eachother, an occultism roll at -6 may offer some potential folk wisdom.

The creature raises another fireball.

The soldier Chris assaulted collapses as the golem extracts the pick, and attempts to ready it.

Haskell kills the other soldier after trading blows,
One soldier is left on Stenet.
The two injured archers with bows are drawing arrows
The burnt archer drops their bow and draw a shortsword, while starting to retreat.

Malga'Mar raises a lightning bolt.
