"I recognize her. Camilla brought her into the conference room, she is an infernal, and was the reason Camilla asked if anyone on this mission had had sexual relations with a demonic or infernal being. Two of the original group, a swashbuckler and a bard had, and were excluded from the expedition, which is why Father Daniels and Frank were with us."

Re: Beneath the cloister's winery

If the battle is over, I'll leave my fatigued allies to rest.

"Azrael, you sit here and catch your breath.  I'll be back to share my essence if no one's injured."

I check on everyone else including our captives for injuries.

In reply to Dareos Madrigar (msg # 809):

"You can have her, torchbearer, but if she gives birth to any of those explosive brats because you were thinking with the wrong, head, so help me I will send you to hell with her.

Thank you for checking on them, Dareos. Jednessa, how are you after all that? It seemed that protecting you from the flames was the best I could do. As for everyone else, let us find some place easily defensible and set up camp to rest. Chris, please remove all weapons and shields from all our captives and place them in Jednessa's cart. If there is room, I would suggest removing their torso armour as well, and tying them together if they can walk.

Jednesa finishes standing and dusts the remains of the FLame Lord from her knee.

"Jednesa unhurt," she replies to Christine as she heads over to the cart to peruse the damage done when she snapped herself free of it.

The harness is damaged, some knot tying can get you a temporary fix.

The captive have some wounds, from Stennet, Haskell, and Malga'Mar's explosive lightning.

Are there any buildings beside the abbey? Perhaps smaller and easier to defend without a small army? Perhaps a farm house nearby?

The abbey has a 9 foot wall with a gate at the front and another to the rear, beside the blighted vinyard.

There was a farmhouse up the way, where you encountered that odd young woman and the protective ghost.

"We should put the prisoners in the refectory, we can barricade the doors from the outside, keep them out of the fight.  Jednesa can start the fight, busting out the gates when they show up, and we close up behind her.  Then me, Haskell, and Chris can hold the gates, Christine and Malga'Mar can toss spells from behind that line.  Dareos, can keep an eye on the flanks and heal where it's necessary.  Azrael, any chance your spirit guide can scout out what's coming?"
