We survived the multiple family invasions so it's back to "normal" now...

Side note - As this is my first run in the game, is it assumed I'll track down the cost of provisions and then also subtract the cost of the hand cart from the character's monies?  If not, how is that handled?  There's always some unwritten guidelines for stuff like this, although in this case it may just be buried in the hundreds of pages I haven't been able to read.  Just want to make sure I'm properly oriented to everything.

Balir grabbed extra food, which I can do the accounting for easily.  As for the hand cart - I think we decided the renter would take the cost out of our loot (assuming we survive and all that...) before we split it.  Just making sure I understand the terms we basically agreed on.

I'm really excited to see how the Dwarf does.  The highest power character I had in a game before this never got off the ground.  He was upwards of 175 points, and I was very proud of the build.  His pre-quest was to hunt down a minotaur, which he did very well.  When the combat came, however, the minotaur rolled a critical hit on his leg.  Of course he critically failed the health roll, resulting in an amputation.  Stumpy McStumperson never fought again.  :(

I hope that Murphy is out torturing someone else while we're questing.

Well, for whatever it's worth, we have few if any PCs with Unluck, but literally a bunch with Weirdness Magnet.  Not sure if any of those are in your group, though.
