Oly:
Did computer security some years back. I wouldn't willingly use it at all.
Zuckerberg laughed when asked about security back around 2010 ...
Between FB, Google, Microsoft and Apple, none of us have many secrets.
Facebook doesn't have any of my real info*, and I use a Facebook blocker extension to keep it from recognizing what webpages I've visited†.
* I mean I don't use a VPN (only because I'm poor) to go to Facebook, but I also didn't use my real name, birthdate, or any other real info (except current resident county) when I signed up with them.
† If you go to a website that has a "log into facebook" button on it? That's a widget which puts a cookie on your computer that responds to Facebook when you log in and tells Facebook that you visited that site, when, how often, etc. I'm pretty sure the other little buttons do the same for their respective companies... but I don't have accounts with them. Also I Adblock every one of those beastly little widgets I find and have pretty strictly controlled cookie settings.
