Someone who speaks pleasantly, is subtle about their intentions, give sincere complements,  brings you gifts that match your preferences, may be using sex appeal, and even if it is a hard no, you may find the individual to be at least thoughtful, even if barking up the wrong tree, so to speak. The average goon with default skill, an OPH or something like impulsive (Masugatan comes to mind) starts ringing alarm bells. MRA's and Incells start with negatives...

Yeah, a fire mage with Pyromaniac, Callous and Bloodlust make for a bad combination for gathering prisoners! Or negotiating with trolls, I suspect. If you have to negotiate with trolls, you might want to disable him somehow...or distract him.

I should be back tomorrow. Went to the restaurant show for a school project for my wife.  We (as this is a team effort) have been studying restaurant management, so I am going to start showing a bit more of Vilgar and Ashbury's pet projects, along with some building out in the winecellars... Just places to re-up.

As a new player...  I was at a loss trying to figure out where all the house rules were.  I still don't really know.  Any consolidation will help the new meat sacks.

There is a tangle of house rules, as this game was originally 3e Fantasy and became 4e piecemeal as I had a bunch pf DF before I had characters and campaigns. Now I have the sickness and also DFRPG.

Grimaldi, you will, let me get a post in first.
