Sometimes I do as well.  And then I remember how crazy it was trying to keep up with an Amber game I was in that averaged over 1000 posts per month.  That's 33.33 posts per day...  now imagine trying to keep up with a thread flying by at 30+ posts per day...

Thankfully there were usually two to three threads going at once, so it was more like 10+ posts per day.  But when all the Characters were in one thread?  Hoo-boy, it made convos difficult as fuck.

Luckily the GM was a neet shut-in and the two Players I hooked up with mostly kept to the same schedule I did (or rather we had opposite schedules, but they overlapped well), so we'd post like mad a few hours in the morning and evenings.

It was crazy fun, but I basically stopped doing anything else but rpol games for those months.  I didn't have time to read books, watch tv shows (it was the winter season anyway), movies, etc...  I still did gaming once a week with my friends... but then sacrificed a few hours of sleep to catch on that game (and others here, like this one) on that day.


Ahhhh, terrific good times.

Down under is about 17 hours ahead of PDT ... often in the next day ... add 3 Hours for EDT

So around 2 AM EDT?

I'm not in the Balar thread, but as an example, I'm on EDT.  I can post once in each of my threads in the morning, once in the evening.  Most days.  Occasionally I'll miss one due to life.

I've been doing it this way for almost four years.

Since I have not met you in-story, I cannot gauge whether we be foe or Ally.  However, while I am aligned with the side of good, you would be mistaken that I am lawful good. I am more neutral good, slipping into occasional bouts of chaotic good, otherwise I could never truly work for Sakemoko.

Suggestion for the GM...  Perhaps it would be good to re-organize the groups based on GEO, so the characters have a decent amount of overlap?

I happen to be in MST, but as a computer guy I have the ability to look at RPOL during my work day periodically (subject to workload).  It seems most of my group is in the US so we move along decently.  For people in different areas of the world, I imagine that can get much harder to maintain a good flow.

i'm semi-retired now, so i have all the time i need. we can only move as fast as the narrator ultimately though, and that's fine. :)

Sorry, my work flow often makes it difficult. I am on EST, andsometimes I get on during lunch, otherise between 4-6 pm.
