At Chye's rebuke, Ales hesitates for a moment. He stops to survey his surroundings and realizes the enermous risk to himself. He utters a Shevnian curse directed at Bresnek.


However, the tide of battle has now turned and Bresnek's goons are now starting to flee. Ales moves in and strikes the one nearest to him with his scimitar, hoping to inflict a bit more parting damage to Bresnek's honor.

(Ooc: Rolled a 7 on skill 15 roll passes. If not defended against,  ashigaru will take 11 cutting damage.)

Ales and Chye cleave through/impale their targets, both of whom die.
Tanaka fells one of ninja, who falls clumsily off the rooftop onto his head, and lies unmoving.

The rest of the Ashigaru flee, Bresnark's man behind his master.

Chye, stepping on the corpse, rips his polearm free, raising his cry of victory over the routing enemy."やった! Yatta!" *Hooray!*

The man impaled by Chye hangs limmply from his weapon, his life's blood spilling onto the cobblestones.

Tanaka has the last ninja clearly in his sights...

Chye shoves the corpse off with his boot, while pulling his weapon free.

The ashigaru falls, as the last three and Bresnark and company back around the corner to an alley way.

Iskader is now in the street, around the wall, and can just see them depart...

Chou-Zhen, after hearing several seconds of relative quiet beyond the door, lets the spark clouds drop so as to look through the rent in the damaged door.

The hpusehold catfolk in their black pajamas are dragging bodies into robs by the gate, although some are in consternation about how to address the one in the koi pond.  The warriors of the household are by the gate, and Tanaka is on the wall, which is damaged.

Chou-Zhen looks at the damage and the bodies, then closes the sanctum doors once more.  "We should wait until the house can be searched to be sure there are no more ninja hiding among us."

Chye remains vigilant, but doesn't pursue further.

Once Ales,Chye,and Numbah Three are within, Chung bars the doors. Together, you all begin a room by room search, while the catfolk see to the roof.

Chye does his part, starting with the storerooms.

Tanaka puts away his bow and arrows, and comes down to help the others.
