Iskander is shocked, but reflexes guide him to throwing the figure, in the opposite direction! (he throws him over his shoulder, so he lands behind him.)

The ninja, having exhausted her actions in her escape, ends up taking the hit, and falls prone.




Meanwhile the magical construct that Iskander has thrown rises to one knee. his features flicker slightly, but you cannot see if he sustained any damage.

Tanaka, hearing the sound of a thud hitting the ground, and of boots scrapping against cobblestone, turns the corner stealthily, sword held in front of him!

Iskander backs away, drawing his other sword, as he does so.

Yodoko gestures for Chye to flip the prisoner over, pinches  her nostrils and pours the contents of a vial into her mouth. The ninja chokes, but Yodoko holds her jaws shut, and after a moment of convulsing, she collapses.
Yodoko looks disapprovingly at the irons, and proceeds to tie the womans elbows together with braided silk, and also her thumbs beforewrapping her legs together, and producing a T shaped iron that she binds the feet to, and links it to Chye's iron. For good measure, she ties a vial of alchemical fire between her limbs, suspending it, and rigging it to explode in case of escape attempts.

Chou-Zhen, hearing Chye's shout and then relative quiet, once more unbars the door of the sanctum so as to look outside and hear better.

"Omo, I believe they have captured a ninja within the house.  We should wait, then, for a completed search."

Chou-Zhen once more bars the door, before turning to see Sakemoko's reaction.

After He turned over the prisoner, Chye said:"Maybe we should have wizard with magic to sense enemy, come patrol with us, until we know there are no more of them. They hide good, and we need to end this threat quickly."
Chye looked around for Ales.
"Ales-san! Chye know you can do this, wanna help Chye hunt them?"

Tanaka recognized the man Iskander was fighting with, as he had taken a few shots at he, and the wizard from the wall, during the battle. In an instant, Tanaka's reflexes saw him, sweep with his katana, at the man's forward leg, as he tried to stand up...
19:32, Today: Tanaka Kojimaru rolled 11 using 3d6.  Katana 17 ( aiming at leg, -2 to hit) = 15 or less [kneeling target is at -2 to defend].
20:54, Today: Tanaka Kojimaru rolled 13 using 2d6+4 ((5,4)). swung katana, two hands, cutting damage.

As Tanaka strikes, the man's features flicker slightly, and his leg is cleaved through, causing him to fall again, and oddly leaving an empty boot.
Completely nonplussed, he rolls toward Tanaka with his broadsword extended.

Iskander steps, and thrusts his sai, toward the extended sword, catching the blade. He attempted to twist it from the grasp, having the upper hand on the downed enemy. [-2 to defend] "Tanaka? What are you doing out here?"

Ales turns and sees Chye nearby. "I had already thought about that, Chye-san. I completed an initial look around, but had no luck. Perhaps with more eyes we will able to smoke out any remaining threats."

"Maybe it was other wizard, who do that. Chye forget. Anyways, good work stopping that fire! You saved all those texts and definitely the library. Maybe even palace!"
