"Walls! Away with them!"

The catfolk leap into action, sliding all the shoji, leaving only the sanctum, the library, and the kitchen with stone walls, and naught but an empty space full of light furniture and cabinets.
There is furtive movement where Ales suspected something...

Ales is flabbergasted when no enemy is revealed.
He ponders for a moment. Perhaps they are somehow cloaked. He grimaces. If only he had paid attention when they were teaching him how to dispel illusions.



He begins to chant. He waits for his senses to tell him new information.
(Sense danger roll passes.)

16:10, Today: Tanaka Kojimaru rolled 9 using 3d6.  katana (two hand strike) 17 [-2, striking at sword arm].
"I thought I'd patrol for stragglers from the assault, or catch anyone fleeing the palace grounds, in the streets!"
Tanaka speaks, timing his words to his movements and finishing words, as he brings his blade down again, on the trapped sword arm.

Ales did detect something, it is just out of sight.

Tanaka cleaves through the arm, leaving an empty sleeve, and a slightly blurry loiking one armed, one legfed man...

"It seems this is a magical construct, and we'll have to damage it sufficiently, in order to dispel the magic."
21:24, Today: Iskander rolled 9 using 3d6.  broadsword ~16 (swinging, to catch his shield, on my sword's hooked end -2) [enemy at -2 to defend].
Disarmed,literally. Iskander struck at the construct's remaining shield arm, catching the shield's rim, on his sword's hook. He would pull it aside, leaving him wide open for Tanaka to finish him off!

Chye critically failed his solider check, to spot the enemies position!
Chye's cool character, and quick reflexes, don't lead him to panic, but he comes close, going completely on the defensive!
00:20, Today: Chye Isuel rolled 10 using 3d6.  acrobatics ~ 14.
Chye overreacts, going into a combat roll, crying out! as he does so:
"ちくしょう!*Chikushō![Oh, Shit]!*They're everywhere!" [dashing towards the Omo's position, to protect him]

Chou-Zhen strides forth with the Omo, lightning whip in his left hand and leather whip in his right.

As you csack the electric whip, you spot something where Ales is pointing, where a stack of walls are.
The Omo draws his blade, and gestures to the catfolk, who promptly disappear...


As Iskander hooks the shield, the one legged one armed thing tries to sweep his leg out from under him!

Chou-Zhen approaches the stack of walls, stopping two yards away to identify what he spotted.

Iskander leapt over the attack, lending some force from the jump, to the force of yanking the construct's shield out of the way! "Ayup!"

Chye readies his polearm, and moves to add a line of defense between he(The Omo), and the ashigaru, at his flanks.

Tanaka, swung at the head, but missed, due to the lower proximity, of his target.

Chou-Zen can see between the shoji flats to see a shape in a dark padded outfit with a face cover- one of the nija!



Tanaka's blade sparks on the cobblestones as the construct contorts itself away.

Chye bellowed at the ninja.

Chou-Zhen lashes his lightning whip at the ninja.  "Here is one of them!"

Chye advances from a another direction, if he can.

The ninja leaps acrobatically away from the whip, and adopts a defensive stance with weapons drawn (Shortsword and shuriken)

Iskander struck the construct, with a short, crushing blow, to the body.

Tanaka brought his blade down upon the constructs neck with a clean swipe, exhaling audibly, as he did so.
"Haa...!"

16:01, Today: Chye Isuel rolled 10 using 2d6+5.  Targeted Attack (sword technique) 2d+5 swing, cutting damage, to neck.
15:59, Today: Chye Isuel rolled 9 using 3d6.  Targeted Attack (sword technique) ~ 15 [+1 weapon bond] 16, targeting neck!
"Hwaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Chye stepped from the flank, sweeping his naginata to take the ninja's head!

Chou-Zhen steps if needed to be within the two-yard reach of the lightning whip, and lashes again.

Ales moves, shield at ready, in front of  Sakemoko, in case the Ninja gets off any shiruken.
