There seems to be nothing other than ordinary foot traffic. Bresnak has disappeared.


Likewise, as the house ninja creep about the folded shoji panels, and even from the rafters. There are no further signs of intrusion.

Tanaka returns, and begins looking over the gear.
"Never been used, and only dropped once... heh heh heh.."

"I could use a decent sword... my hook sword is blunt, and makes a good side-arm."Iskander a skilled swordsman, hefted the sword, looking it over and checking it's quality.

Chou-Zhen lets his lightning whip and other spells lapse.

"We have withstood the storm, it seems."  He takes the vial of antidote from his potion belt and holds it out to the Omo.  "There was no need for this, this time."

"Indeed we have. Take the bodies to the courtyard, where we will arrange proper burials, and let us get the house back in order. I trust Akira no Aku will be sending an envoy soon to sue for peace."

The sword is a straight bladed thrusting broadsword of good quality. There is a belt and scabbard with the other equipment.



Chainmail etc is valuable

Iskander sheathes the sword in it's scabbard, and puts the weapon's belt on.
"Good!"
"It may not be as splendid as your sword, but it'll serve me well enough. Why don't you keep the hauberk, shield, helm, and boots? That ought to roughly amount to a split in value. We should make haste back to the palace, and see what's going on there, and report our activity."

Tanaka gathers up his share of booty.
"Well, I don't see any smoke, so that's good. Let's hurry back!"

"You are surely correct, Omo.  Between recovering the tea set, our raid on The Silver Jade Palace, and this assault, he has surely taken heavy losses."

Chou-Zhen coils his leather whip and hangs it back on his belt.  "I would rest soon, if I may -- even if I only stand quietly and keep watch.  Later, I will need to visit the Guild hall."

Chye goes and helps do as the Omo commands.

Alex goes to help return the house in order.

Chou-Zhen also pitches in along with the house staff and the other wuxia, helping to carry bodies, reset walls, and keep a watch for any more intruders.

"Is it not the way of the world that this kind of work is reserved for when we are already tired?"

Tanaka hails the gate gaurds.
"We've returned from a patrol just outside the grounds, and all is clear. Please open the gates, and let us in."

Iskander bears his livery, standing beside Tanaka.

An exhausted Chung opens the gate, and bars it after they enter. He turns to Numbah three son
"Watch the gate, Yi Zhi yǎnjīng. Ineed to see to Xu."

"I'll take your place, while you go."
Tanaka is still vigorous, having spent most of the battle from the wall.

"I'll go report to the Omo what happened, and what we fought."
Iskander said to Chung Wang:
"Xu should be fine. I took an arrow out of him, bandaged him up, and the staff took him to the healer."
He speeds off, to find the Omo.
"Veure-ho tot més tard!"

Numbah Three Son, the "one-eye" Chung was referring to also minds the gate with Tanaka.

The catfolk re-assemble the house, and the cooks dump the poisoned rice and smash the crockery.  The shaman Mushi comes to bless the renains of the attackers.
