One of the goons had a gold coin hidden in his boot. ($80) the others had pouches with a few copper and silver cois, cheap knives and spiked maces. The thing had a large good knife and a giant sized maul. That and her armir are fovered in slime. She and the others were wearing lamelar armor (scale mail). There is also a concealed peephole next to the door...

Grimaldi drags everything into a pile, and after counting the coin, adds it to the spoils.
"They had a little cash...We can divvy this up, later."
he begins to regain his energy, as well.

nothing for himself out of this, just taking inventory. This is all pretty much salvage and petty cash.

Grimaldi takes the coins and stands guard over the arms, as he rests and regains some energy.

You'll be responsible for that, and it'll go in the guild report. you want that? then cease your screaming, at once! This man has wronged the guild, and we've brough justice upon him, these men are knights!"

Several bluecloaked members of the watch are approaching from a distance.

"Ah, the gendarmerie has arrived. Bravo." Grimaldi opera claps.

Sederic sighs and secures Meikka.

"I'm quite sure, The Baronet can effect something in our favor, still...this is a complication, i'd rather have avoided." Grimaldi sheathed his tuck, and stood by the Knights.

Sederic clears his throat, and gestures towards Sir James.

 to defend ourselves, as it is ignobile to retreat.  That empty armor yonder was worn by a
vicious and unnatural monster, who beat at us with that enormous sledge, and dissolved into
that unmentionable puddle therin after we gave her what for. It was a horror truly, as she did
not bleed when struck, even when a blade passed through her head. Something in defiance of
natural law resides with their master."

The gendarme looks over to the scene of slaughter, then back at James' fine armor and  earnestly smiling face, and shrugs.

"Well then! You have done the community a service. It would do well if you could drag the offender before the magistrate... is that a necklace of fingers lying there in that armor?
By Hades you have done well! We have been looking for the miscreants who have been about that business...It was always said to be a giant that turned folk's stomachs... We always assumed it to have been one of the fouler smelling ogres. As you were."

He salutes, snaps back his cloak, and marches off with the other men.

Grimaldi cries out:
"Sir, would you have about you an extra pair of irons you could lend us, so we can bring him in alive, if possible?"

Grimaldi steps forward to collect the irons.
