"Here, mistress?"  Ardenas looks down toward the blood trail for confirmation.

Aoife checks for the blood trail, and suggests someone open it...

"Perhaps someone should also check for signs of runes or other traps while they're at it. This trail seems deliberate.. like it could be a trap."

The double doors to this place have runes carved into the archway above. They seem odd.

"This is demonic writing. I recognize it, but cannot read it."

Ardenas brings his helmet light close to the carved runes to get a better look.

"These aren't the same as the ones we've seen on the stairs and by the other door?"

These are different, and older. Just as sinister, though.

"So we either need to shape stone, or to avoid them. Can we do either?"

Mancini takes a look at the runes. He grabs his scribal kit and jots down a copy of them as evidence of cultic/demonic activity. "Demonic runes? What's next?"

He looks over to Norman. "I know you have been studying something in your after hours. Any chance it's anything useful like a demonic runes to Aralaise dictionary?"

"Hmmm."  Ardenas examines the stone the runes are carved in.  "The demon had some way to pass these runes without harm.  Perhaps a password or talisman."

"We don't have time to stand around."  Ardenas reaches out to open the door; if it opens (and there's nothing obviously threatening behind) he'll step through.
