To get suitable wood, you can hack up the front door. Kirpich needs an axe or a sword to perform a decapitation. Snorri has an axe and helps hack down the door, and then decaptiates the bodies.

Hmmm, good point. Technically a pick could be used, but it would be messy! He asks if anyone has a spare axe he could borrow...

Balir is standing guard in the room, trying to make sure that nothing comes through the doors to attack them.  He fancies himself the guardian of the group, and is trying to take it seriously.

[Private to GM: Balir can barely contain himself because there just has to be gold somewhere in this tower.  And that has him distracted - he is not paying close enough attention to what is going on in front of him.

OK, Off we go...

Balir will back away from the door very reluctantly as the others withdraw.  In his mind they could easily storm the tower and take all the gold and jewels from within.  Instead he forms a rear guard against attack from the Vampyres.

Once they are again back in the sunlight, he whirls around to look at the rest of the group.  "Vy are ve leaving?  They obviously ahve gold in zat tower.  Those guards fell easily.  Ve could have had their riches by now!"

His tone is strained, possibly even exasperate, as he asks the question.
