The road to Veroigne
In reply to Narrator (msg # 365):
Pulling the horse close, Kirpich will call out.
'Come close, Chunky stay outside and swat them, as they are after blood and you have none. Be careful not to damage what I will construct."
His first spell will create a 2 yard deep hole, 3 yards wide by 3 yards deep where they stand, as the dirt moves out around them. His second casting creates an earthen dome with 6 inch round holes spread across the 3 x 3 yard domed roof. His third casting creates a stone layer about 4 inches thick on the inside to support the domed roof.
He then collapses in pain, blood running from his nose.
[Private to GM: Mechanics:
1st Spell, shape earth. Rolled 7 under to cast,
18 cubic yards, 3 x 3 x 2 = 18 cubic yards. Since this is a hole in the ground, it should be fairly stable in it's own right. Drawing 12 fp from his armour, 2 from skill, it costs him 4 fp to cast this spell.
2nd Spell, shape earth, rolled 8 under to cast, 9 cubic yards, 3 x 3 yard dome, with holes. Holes are about 6 inches in diameter about every foot for air, so 6 inches of stone between each hole. 5 fp, 2 free from skill, and 2 hp. This should stay in place for a minute without maintenance, allowing the next spell to be cast.
3rd Spell, Earth to stone, Rolled 10 under, 8 under if injury from previous spell considered. 1 cubic yard, 3 x 3 x 1/9 yards (1/9 yards is 4 inches). This thickness can actually be a bit thicker if the area of the holes is considered. Cost 2 free + 1 hp.
The stone underlay should now support the roof indefinitely, until Chunky can slowly smash them all. Did I miss anything?
This should leave him at 7 HP, 1 FP and drain his armour. Does that need to be recharged now, or will it slowly recharge itself?]
