 You had exited the woods, saw the ruined farmhouse, and headed off to the tower. East...toward the beast...are traces of other ruined buildings, also to the south. To get around the towers woods is a days travel. Although it may be shorter through the woods

The building, also roofless, is almost sn hour's walk south. Along the way you meet Aethul, lamb in tow.

Obviously lost it's mother, hopefully we can find the herd.

The beast quite possibly. I didn't think the Tower denizens had much use for food.

He does all he can to nurse the lamb along.

Not far from one of the ruined farmhouses. You spot the stone entrance of a root cellar built into a low hill. There is a small door.
