Balir nods in response to Fishbie's comment.  He had no problem relaxing for an time with a woodgrue, under the assumption his gold and belongings were safe.  That would of course be the trick...

"I think you should play a little nicer too. Using magic to force people to do things is extremely rude, not mallow. Inviting people to dance is nice, but forcing them, not so much. Good day folks."

Kirpich begins to lead folk down the road.

With the fey folk behind you, the road stretches uneventfully ahead until nightfall, with little to see except for farmers tilling the soil and a few sheep.

Balir will assist with setting up camp and volunteer to take the middle watch again.  As he (probably) has the best night vision, and is something of the low man on the totem pole, it seems reasonable.

OOC By the way, I take it from mentions that Kirpich has a friendly earth elemental that has been accompanying us?

In reply to Balir Ironhide (msg # 195):

The elemental is a small one, about a yard tall, and looking like a stack of rocks in humanoid shape.

Occ: something like the one in Heavy Metal 2, as opposed to the one in GalaxyQuest

"My Elemental 'Chunky' goes where I go. He is a good friend of mine." Kirpich says, as he assists in setting up the campsite, moving earth as required, before creating some food out of the local vegetation.

Kirpich will volunteer for last, and suggest we keep a watch routine as last time, but with perhaps 5 shorter watches...

Syvanus > Balir > Dionysus > Snorri > Kirpich

Sound right to all as standard practice?

As you approach the silvery glow, you can make out that it comes from an enourmous twelve point buck, quietly eating ferns.
The animal is beautiful and faintly luminous.
