Ales sees the arrow miss Chou. "You guys continue working on the barriers. I'll go hunt your attempted assassin."

Ales goes in the direction of the arrow.

19:48, Today: Chye Isuel rolled 6 using 3d6.  bow ~ 14 (+2 for aiming, -3 for vitals 13 or less).
Chye aimed cooly for two seconds, as the man slipped into the mud.  As he struggled to get up, Chye let his arrow go, right into his vitals...

The impaled man sinks into the mud. The other two injured men try to stumble along the stream, moving very slowly as they bleed.

The wasps, just released, buzz angrily near Saishi, needing a turn to accept a command before they leave, so hokd on that bear.

Chou-Zen  cannot espy the archer, who seems imprecise in his aiming.

Not sure in what direction the Archer fired from, Ales takes a moment to cast a detection spell.

Chye wastes no time, in drawing and nocking a 4th arrow, taking aim at the men slow, stumbling targets.

Iskander stealths closer to the action..

"Stay sheltered here," he says to Ming-Sa, then turns and steps out from behind the wall section, standing near the spent arrow and looking backward along it.  He gestures, and a crackling ball of energy grows in his left hand.

He calls out from the brush.
"Surrender! Strip off your arms and equipment, and we'll banadage you up, and let you go. We can't have you roaming the woods, but we needn't kill you unless we have to."

S the wasps attack, the men flee from Saishi.

Meanwhile, the three gravely wounded men in the stream throw down their weapons.

Chye readies his polearm and w/ Iskander, rounds the soldiers up.
"get your armor off now, and we'll take the arrows out."

Iskander takes and secures their gear, and gets his first aid kit.
"We'll treat you by the stream, and turn you loose. But if the other group finds you, you're on your own, so make haste if you want to live. Your gear has bought you your lives."

You are able to extract the arrows without causing furtherbinjury (by destroying the arrows) and stop their bleeding. With difficulty, you relievevthem of their reinforced leather hauberks.

The wasps have the men movi g faster v v thsn the bear can keep up.

Once he has a target, Chou-Zhen aims carefully, and releases his lightning.

At the moment Saishi cannot, and his hearing is occluded by the bear-tulpa thrashing about.

By the roard, Chou-Zen hears a cry, a splash, and a sizzle.
