Near Al Menir
In reply to Gorgath (msg # 118):
The mutton dinner goes very well, with the ogres getting uncomfortably romantic.
In the morning, Gorgath is gone.
You make your way through the coffee fields to the gates of sumptuous Al Menir. The blue tiled walls are beautiful, the rose colored minarets and brazen domes are spectacular, and the land around it is lush, thanks to a pair of rivers flowing down from the western mountains. In the foothills the current is rapid, but here the water is still enough for fishermen or pole and sail barges to make their way to the city to trade.
The bundles of lavender and thyme, the assorted goblin metalcraft, and bolts of silk from the weaverfolk that your wagons carry will sell well here, in the trinket shops and souks.
It has been a long trip to the city, where you can rest, re-arm, and regroup before returning to the mountains to search for the hidden citadel.
Sorsha and her cabinet maker cousin intend to explore the city. Gorgath is gone. Gareth needs boots, his sandals destroyed by the journey.
Each of you who have been here for the trip get four CP, and learn Valdassyan at broken, those who already had it broken, now have it accented.
