Re: Near Al Menir

After feeling it all over.

"There seems to be some writing or symbol etched into it, its very faint and easily missed. Anyone have chalk or something to make markings? I can go over them to make them more visible."

ooc: The one time I don't have a character with chalk!

Haveron hears that the door is magical, and steps back, out of the way.  "Please, then, help open the door.  You have the expertise on the subject."

The door is most likely secured with magelock, which is bypassed by lockmaster, which also has magelock as a prerequisite...

Re: Near Al Menir

"There could be a durability enchantment of some sort on it, but even then enough force should break through it. Another strong possibility is essential materials. Its possible that the frame could be broken easier than the door. I don't have a good spell for blasting the door. If we can bash it we should try that, but if it holds I can try to get in touch with my mentor."

Re: Near Al Menir

In reply to Adept Yisslitheniss (msg # 860):

The area outside the treeline is fairly overgrown, although the grass in the clearing appears to be of uniform height, of perhaps a span. There is a faint smell of cut grass.

Nevertheless,  the keen eyed lizardman is able to spot odd looking tracks: small round impressions about an inch accross, in steps about three inches apart.

[Private to Narrator: there are 2 1 foot stone golems armed with miniature scythes; they curl into balls and look like rocks.]

Haveron watches the lizard man as he looks around.  Then he reaches for the crow bar and hefts it.  "I am prepared to break through the door if we have no other way in."

The Adept does not touch it, but looks it over carefully, as if an animal opened it, it should be reasonably simple to operate.

The stone uncurls into a foot high stone statue that is armed with a small scythe.  It turns away from you, and starts cutting the grass,  one strand at a time.
