The group consists of two heavily armored knights, an archer holding hands with another woman, and a muscular dwarf with a mandolin.

Rosewood follows the others doing his best to say out the way.
Listening and hopefully learning how big people deal with big people.

The dwarf, who has a black eye, slings his axe, and tries to tune his mandolin. The two women call to him to hurry up.

"They were rough trade. Aralaise men, all a bit scruffy. Wrote 'mongrels' and 'No Halfbreeds' My tenant Gordab would have thumped them, but he was off minstrelling about. Quite a few of my tenants are musicians."

In reply to Landlady (msg # 119):

"Do you think they might have been the ones responsible for the fire in that building?" She points out the building that was burnt that they had looked at previously. "Is it possible the charcoal came from there?"

In reply to Anita Drake (msg # 120):

"That is my building. You can get charcoal anywhere, and the grafiti came days before the fire"

In reply to Landlady (msg # 121):

"I see. Who were the tenants at the time of the fire? How long had they been there? Was the graffiti targeting them, or you?"

"I'm going to head across the street and check out this tavern for clues, but first, I'll question these folks."
Leroy approaches the group heading away from the tavern, crossing the street.
"Hail, Sirs and company! Might you help us in a task, of finding a group of ne'er-do-wells, that we might mete out justice? We're looking for the people responsible for the fire, at the boaring house."

Wiley leans against a wall and watches the area for trouble while he flips the large coin he carries as his good luck charm, trying to look as if he is not associated with the rest of the group.

Finding himself of little use at the moment Rosewood fly's up and find himself a nice little perch to look over the area and keep eye out for trouble.

Marcus stands near Leroy waiting for an answer.

"You are the nosy one, ain't ya? I room all sorts, pieceworkers, day laborers, minstrels, what have you. All sorts, mostly a little off, but their coin is good. Got some cusswords writ, some mudblood this, bloodstain that, halfbreed illegitimate what have you. Gone through a lot of whitewash. Some left, some are still here. That archer gal and her wife stay here too, but they got their own troubles with rude folk."

In reply to Landlady (msg # 127):

"Investigation kind of require the nosy type. Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. Do you mind if we speak to some of the tenants that were here at the time this fire started? Perhaps you can indicate which ones?"

"Don't fret, good Dame. We're not here to cause a fuss, but to help. Forsooth! It does not appear as if the gendarmes are interested in keeping the peace, so we were called upon."

Down the street behind you, you hear heavy footsteps and whistling.
The woman cocks her ears and points with her chin as she continues folding laundry.
"That would be Gordab. He wasn't here when the fire started. Renolan was, and a few serving folk."

"Very well, Ma'am. Thank you for your time and information. You don't know where Renolan is, per chance?"

Anita will head off looking for Renolan.

OOC: Renolan was the half-elf back at the guild common room, that we spoke to. he is the one who put out the fire, and directed our inquiry here, remember?
Leroy pops his head around the corner, expecting an orc, with a name like Gordab.

As you step out of the alley, you notice a very large fellow of dubious parantage carrying a cello.
A couple of rough type diagonally accross, near the back of the Wastrel's Hope are giving him the eye. Admittedly,  He is an eyeful, maybe seven feet tall and at least four feet wide, with a thick neck and no sign of a chin.

"You must be Gordab. Well met! Your land lady was just telling us about you. We're from the guild, and we're investigating the fire, and the ones giving the neighborhood a bit of trouble. Might you know anything that would help us, big guy?" Leroy said, amiably.

Anita starts, before returning.

"Oh, of course. Excuse my memory, but Renolan was the one that asked us for help. Which of the other serving folk were here?"

"Maddo, and his friends are concerned with the harassment given them, around their neighborhood, and their livelihoods are disrupted. Sooner or later, someone is likely to be hurt, or killed, as this fire has escalated matters from vandalism."
Leroy explains.

The large man breaks into a wide smile full of crooked teeth.
In a deep and booming voice, he responds;

"I am Gordab. And your name? I have not seen that kind of trouble, but maybe  because it has not happened to me."
