Leroy despises scum, and knows it, when he sees it. (quirk)

There are three. Two bulky, one a little leaner, with a swollen jaw and missing front teeth. His cl9ak is torn.

"What? Our word as men not good enough? Those women, they were saphique, and the knights, and probably the musician, all chetiffe. This is not natural! They stole our weapons!"

"Well, if he saw you three get robbed just now, I'm sure he'd understand why you're short on coin... Besides, we're on an assignment in this neighborhood, for the guild, and we want to ask him some questions about an attempted arson across the street at the boarding house...You know anything about that?"
08:48, Today: Leroy du Lac rolled 12 using 3d6.  carousing ~ 14.
"If you answer some questions, and help enlighten us about some of the local toughs in this neighborhood, I'll buy you drinks, and maybe I can help you three find some honest work, as it seems you've just fallen on hard times."

Anita will go down the street a little in the same direction as the other ruffians went, slowly, to see where these guys are headed if they leave.

The three make their way to a run down set of row houses, and enter, and you can hear them making their way up the stairs inside. The building is narrow and about three stories high, with an attic, and a visible basement apartment. It looks kind of seedy, and leans into the adjacent buildings.
The basement appears occupied, and the first floor has a tailor's shop adjacent to the stairs.

Sure Anita could take care of herself, and that everyone knew where to meet back, Leroy sought out the barkeep and was ready to socialize and drink, in the meanwhile.
"Come on, let's get a table, and I'll order us some wine!"

"Bring us a half gallon pitcher of your table wine, and a basket of bread and cheese, Monsieur...Say, what happened in here? Those knights, dwarf, and women left here, and then when we got here, a group of ruffians had told us, the lot of them, had robbed them. A likely story, Me thinks! 'Twould seem it was those three who tried to rob them, and got a sound thrashing themselves!"

Leroy lays a stack of ten copper coins on the bar. (OOC should cover the cost of the wine, two cheap meals, and a $1 tip)
"There's these fellows about who don't cotton to half-bloods and there was an arson attempt at the boarding house across the street, and some graffiti left as a warning. We just had a tussle with some of them outside..Do you know anything about those guys, in the neighborhood?"

"Thanks, Barkeep."
Leroy took some of the sub-par food and wine, more happy to be carousing, than with it.
"Help yourselves, friends. You too, Gordab. Say, where'd you learn to play that thing, you pretty good?"
