Leroy doesn't have that, or regular savoir faire. Manoir du Lac is out in the country, and he's sort of a yokel...
"Wow! Thanks... What do these do? Are they magic??"

In reply to Rosewood (msg # 522):

You realize that Leroy has just indebted himself to Hyacinth, and will garner a negative reputation, and possibly ill luck if he doesn't aid her in some way in the near future.
You also recognize that the type of hag being described does not quite match the fey thst you saw, and will be quite intractable in her home environment.  Bringing an offering as a gift, freely given, with no expectation of an exchange of favors is inclined to indebt the faerie.  Also, bringing iron into her domain is automatically hostile.

it fits his code of honor, and besides, if he can make friends with this place, and the fey, they would be great allies to have, i think.

I am up for finding the honey if you want.
Just don't wish to meet the person we giving it to.

OOC:
I did have another answer to msg #528, but it was such a doggy comment (although rosewood would not know it.  That I thought it not right to post in PG game.)

That should have been msg #527.  Nothing to do with gift or children.
More to do with Rosewood not understand what Leroy du Lac talking about.

Bringing a bad child would not reflect well on you, and offering to take one for the team would not go over well. Buying a pie would just have a lower reaction bonus than baking one.

Marcus stands there dumbfounded bot knowing what is going on.  He has very distant Fey blood in him but he is not one to judge a book by it's cover.  He trusts his new companions and let's them do the negotiating.  He skill lies more in woodcraft and archery.
