"So, it's looking like we'll have to slay the lot of them, and take her out. This will no doubt gain the attention of both courts, methinks...then, maybe we can meet the summer court, and be acknowledged! I feel like I have a whole, extended family waiting for me. Wait til they hear about this, back at Manoir du Lac! Great grandma, will be so proud."

Rosewood is very quiet for a time then speaks.

From my understanding, Fae that are iron averse are vulnerable to star metal- meteoric iron. Some get sick from it, others take extra damage. Meteoric iron is antimagical.

(quote from GM after my roll on issues).

He looks up at Leroy du Lac.  A sad look on his face.
I am but a young fairy Leroy.  I do not wish to upset or insult you.  A man of your expericne and understanding.  However I think it may help if I explain how most fay in the summer court see half fay and humans.

Well let me put it like this.

How much importance and impact would a small bumble bee, be to you and your life.
One that lived 20 miles from here.  It lived last summer for 6 weeks and died of old age.  Adding a small amount off honey to it's hive about the size of it own body.
How much effect would that bee have had on your life?

Rosewood then has another thought.

If it is not a rude question.  How many summers have you seen my friend?

Leroy chuckled.
"Alright, alright... I get it. We are but mere insects, in comparison.
I'm 18, but I beat my first grown man, at 15. So, I'm one tough kid! I can imagine Feykind spends an awful long time, taking turns babysittin' waitin' on y'all to finally mature."

Leroy chuckles again.

Rosewood smiles at Leroy du Lac.  He does frown for a moment then seems to resolve some sense of confusion in his head.
You understand then that most fay do not count summers as they lose count.
We fairies do as we have a limit life span compared to other true fay.
I am only 45 summers old.  Very young.  So your nearly twice as old as I am.
  He nods
Just as I expected.
(clearly Rosewood has clearly misheard Leroy du Lac and made 18 into 80 to fit his perception of Leroy).

I did not wish you to waist your time trying to achieve something only few half-fay have ever done.  Make a name for themselves in the summer court.  To many have tried and waited their lives doing so.
I hope that is alright.

Rosewood turns to Anita Drake.
Dear lady I am not going to ask.  I know that would be very rude.

Rosewood decide to speak up.

I do have an idea.  One that would course confusion and hopefully put stop to the cult and limit the damage done.
What if we found our own illusionist or found a human that looks like Maudwyn.
Study what the first Maudwyn does and says.
Then use our own Maudwyn to course confusion and infighting within the group.
Maybe even course a split into two groups that fight each other.
If our Maudwyn is human then we can expose the true one as fake by dispelling her magic.

I am not sure if this can be done.  I don't have illusionist magic.  Sorry.

Just a thought of stupid fairy.

OOC:
I do hope Rosewood make you all laugh and find what I do funny.
Especially with the way things are at the moment.

In reply to Rosewood (msg # 646):

You could find a way to present to either court, considering that you have engaged with and exchanged favors with one of each faction so far.

You managed to dispose of several of Maudwyn's goons without significant injury, and could do something like follow her, or deal with the purists as they harrass your clients.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 647):

"I am not particularly in favour of courting the courts. My uncle courted a human court, and it cost him his life. Better to just deal with the ones harrassing our client until this two-faced bitch looses patience and does something that will allow us to expose her. Then just deal with her. We may be part fey, but we are also part human, so why waste our lives trying to be something we are not. Live in our owns skin, I say, and deal with these pigs in the human way.

Until then, do you know anyone who might know how our regular crossbow bolts go against these nasty fey?

Grimaldi nods, agreeing with Anita's response.
"That's the way. You can do as you like, but I'd like to make some friends, beyond man's realm, and see what is hidden from our eyes..If not full fledged members of court, contacts are nice to have."

Rosewood looks at the creature.
In low voice he says to the others.
Something far worse than Maudwyn.

He says a few words.
Then the pixie has gone.

You might want to edit that, it was a mistaken use of an avatar by a player with multiple characters.

Unless a legendary fae creature is resistant to weapons, they should do damage normally.

Rosewood look nervous at what he is about to say.

Maybe, just maybe I could follow her and find out where she lives.
It maybe that will be of some us?
