From a darkened alley,Leroy makes his way back to the Wastrel's Hope to rendezvous with the others. He'll also want to give the area a heads up. Someone will come to retaliate, or sue for peace...and knowing this lot, things are about to get uglier than a bubonic trollop.
He puts his axe away, but carries his shield...

your armored move is 4, theirs is 6, they would be on you in 30 seconds if you don't find a way to lose them.

Leroy tries to blend in, but stands out, and doesn't know the area.
gritting his teeth, as he hears them close in, he looks for a suitable choke point, in an alleyway, preferably on high ground, where he can make his stand.  It seems he will be fighting alone, after all...

20:20, Today: Leroy du Lac rolled 8 using 3d6.  Tactics default (11-6 5 or less (!!!)
Being unfamiliar with the area, Leroy is unable to predetermine any battleground. He settles for brazenly entering anyplace convenient, be it a stables, or even a tavern or shop. He would not be taken alive, and whatever carnage ensued, would at this point, have to be sorted out later. He was looking for a two story or higher building that adjoined another. If he entered a building with multiple escape routes, he could possibly ascend one floor, and climb out a window onto a roof, or an adjoining building, to make good his escape. Or perhaps reduce the number of foes he'd have to face at a time.
Leroy thought, as he prepared for battle.

Make two climbing rolls to get accross the rooftops and down, then shadowing (IQ-5 or stealth-2) to make your way back unseen. You have a 5 second headstart on Leroy, and 15 on the purists, although that breaks even by the time you get off the roof... stealth to not get noticed.

Anita checks those around her before quietly slinking away, watching those around her. She will also keep an eye out for Leroy, to ensure he can get away...

Marcus grunts as he pulls himself up off the ground and catching his wind he slowly follows Anita holding his side.

Leroy runs intovthe alley behind the rooming house, between the outhouse and the wall, and slips into the close (an alleyway built over until it becomes a tinnel) between two buildongs.  He can hear his pursuers on the other side of the outhouse,  where laundry is hanging.  From the sound of it, there are three of them.


Anita sldes away, walking along with a rowdy crowd before stepping into a sidestreet.

Marcus stumbles along, grateful that his bow isnt broken, but he may have left an arrow or two behind, and can see the back end of the crowd ahead.

[Private to  Narrator: this crowd soon forms into a religious procession, the worshippers are equal to cultists, and worship an obscure triunist saint, St Pyr,  all are drunk]

Leroy will position himself on the opposite side of the tunnel, and using it as a choke point, if possible. He could handle 3 of them, if he could control the battlefield! (overconfident)

Rosewood is able to track Leroy. Anita lost track of him while climbing over the rooftop and into an alley.

Rosewood will soon be visible, but for the moment (and about 15 seconds more) he remains unseen.

Marcus knowing that Anita slipped into the crowd looks around for signs of his other companions.

Rosewood seeing Leroy du Lac got trouble drop himself down.
