The other one also misses his swing, and staggers back, his left shoulder crushed, the arm crippled.

True, but at this point Leroy is free to move back into the ally proper, is he not? Or are there others engaging him now? Basically, she is looking to see them drawn back into the alley as originally planned.

Also, Anita will load a regular bolt into her now cocked crossbow.

Marcus will hold off firing waiting for Purists to make their move.  He looks around his area to see if anything or anyone is sneaking up on him....
