Marcus is able to get a dozen AP  (bodkin) arrows

Alchemical fire costs $100 per vial, and is useable as a grenade or sling bullet.

"There's $432 in copper, and a few silver. There's a couple decent small blades, too.
We could probably sell them both for a silver, and some change..If anyone doesn't need another good blade."

Leroy says, after collecting, and assessing the spoils.

In reply to Leroy du Lac (msg # 945):

"We could. The pamphlets will make for good firestarters, too. We should buy the oil with that cash...perhaps 4 lamp oil and an alchemists fire to light it. Do you want me to look after the stuff? I might even find a home for those knives...let me just make sure we do not have any or our fingerprints on them..."

Are they Daggers or Small Knives, as per the table of weapons?

Leroy could use knives, but had a baselard in his boot.
"Here, you want 'em, you can have 'em."
Leroy hands the knives to the woman.
"Good plan, that. I like it!"
OOC:so, an alchemical firebomb @ $100.

"Okay. This'll be more handy for utilitarian purposes." Leroy puts the small knife in his other boot.
OOC: okay, so $100 on a firebomb, and $8 on 4, pint bottles of lamp oil, @ $108 outta the $432, leaves us $324 to divvy.

In reply to Leroy du Lac (msg # 949):

"Sounds good. Perhaps even a couple more oil to make it $320 to divvy. Between myself, you, Marcus, Rosewood and Gordab that makes $64 each. It is a bit risky to use the same spot, though so we should find a new place, and collect all the caltrops..."

In reply to Rosewood (msg # 951):

The caltrops weight an ounce or two each; Rosewood can more easily hoist them without risk of impaling himself.

The small knives are worth little, but in quantity can be.  Lamp oil burns, but causes 1d-3 burni g, each bottle will cover 1 hex.

The lamp oil is really to make them want to ditch the shields, so we do not expect it to cause an inferno.

So we can make the preparations...can we find a suitable new spot?

23:41, Today: Leroy du Lac rolled 11 using 3d6.  tactics ~ 10 or less.
Being new in town, Leroy didn't know his way around the city. Looking around, scratching his head, he tried to form a tactical plan, according to the buildings themselves, but wasn't satisfied with anything he could think of at the moment, so he didn't bring it up...

In reply to Marcus Blackthorn (msg # 961):

Excellent! You relocate to an areatwo blocks away, where a wagon canbe rolled to block an alley, and there is a shallow drainage ditch from a public pump leading to a drain to the sewers. Children.often play in.it, but it makes for bad footing for someone charging past it.
One entrance is 3 yards wide, two are two yards wide and one barely a yard wide; the wagon is 2 yards wide and can block any of the entrances except the widest.
The shield wall works well only when three yards accross, the turtle can work at 2 yards wide.
